Anyone thinking of laying the Vale?
Just check on Shrewsbury's Grant Hoult. I think he's suspended.

First time posting, apologies for any mistakes or if in wrong thread...
Wales U21 V ENGLAND U21
Can currently get England @1.67 and I see that as good value. Wales are an improving side at this age and have some potential in the likes of Ramsey (Arsenal) but most players plying their trade in the Championship. Wales could have had Gareth Bale and Joe Ledley but both called up to senior squad. England have the likes of Joe Hart, Stephen Taylor, David Wheater, Tom Huddlestone, James Milner, Mark Noble, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Matt Derbyshire and Frazier Campell to choose from.
I believe this is a 2-legged affair but feel England will have too much experience and ability for Wales.
WALSALL V Peterborough United
I have seen Peterborough play a few times this season and they look a useful attacking side but can be suspect at the back. This weekend they will be without their main defenders Craig Morgan and Gabriel Zakuani on international duty. Jamie Day definitely out injured and Blackett, Westwood and Williams look doubtful. Could be a real problem at Posh to fill defensive positions this weekend. Walsall are 5th and with 3 wins and 1 loss at home, Peterborough are 9th with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 defeats away from home. Walsall @2.42 to win |

English League Two:
Grimsby vs Wycombe
Grimsby may have a new manager in, but i would bet on that having any sort of major impact in their performances immediately. Wycombe come into this game off the back of a 7-0 defeat to Shrewsbury, who in turn are an extremely decent side and Wycombe made numerous changes to their squad. Wycombe look an impressive side this season and are extremely difficult to break down. Prior to their cup match with the Shrews they had only conceded 3 goals in their last 9 matches in the league. And with Grimsby being the divisions lowest scorers this season with a mere 4 goals in 9 matches i cant see past a Wycombe victory here which is being offered at a tasty price. Not sure how odds of 11/10 are being made available for them by SkyBet. Although a few stats in the game caught my eye. The over/under 2.5 goals for the above teams this season are:
Grimsby At Home: - Under 2.5 (3) - Over 2.5 (1)
Wycome Away: - Under 2.5 (4) - Over 2.5 (0)
So also value available in the under 2.5 goals. Wycombe/Grimsby are not free scoring teams and Wycombe have proved hard a break down. So the following bets are the ones i am selecting:
- Wycombe Away Win (11/10)
- Under 2.5 Goals (4/5)
- Wycombe Clean Sheet (Cannot Locate Odds For This On Bet365) |

English League two
Dag and Red v Barnet
Dag's home record is great this season yet to lose a game in league two P5 W3 D2 Scoring 13 conceeding 3, barnets away record W1 L3 Scoring 3 conceeding 10.
They played earlier this year 2nd September in Johnstone's Paint Trophy at the L.B Barking & Dagenham Stadium in a 4-2 thriller.
Dag and Red win@1.71
Great odds for a home win with a great home record |

My big value tip of the day is in the FA Cup game Dover Athletic v AFC Wimbledon which is little probably known about;
When the draw was made the AFC Wimbledon manager said "we probably couldn't have got a tougher game from this draw", which is pretty accurate I believe. Dover might be a league below AFC, but are 6 points clear at the top having won their last 10 games, which included away wins against 2 top 6 teams. The fact that AFC Wimbledon and Chelmsford (the other promoted team) are both in the top four in their first season suggests there is not that much difference in standards off these leagues. And although AFC started the season reasonably well I think the fixture computer was rather good to them early on as they were not really tested in the first half dozen or so games. Their recent form is not great, picking up just one point from the last 3 games. The bookies have Wimbledon as favourates for this tie so I think the 2.60 on offer for Dover Win at SkyBet is great value.
Also;
Bristol Rovers to beat Leyton Orient 2.0, Orient are in terrible form and still have lots of key injuries.
Southend to beat Stockport 1.83, Southend have won their last 4 games and in good form. Stockport are pretty average.
Swindon to beat Huddersfield 2.25, Two midtable teams but Swindon should have the better at home. They haven't done too well of late with loses and home and drawing away, but after a good away win midweek in the JPT I think that will be a good confidence booster. In Andy Booth and Ian Craney Huddersfield have two key players missing too.
All those home wins on an accumilator is 22/1 |

Southend v Stockport
Southend are going for their 5th straight win, and i cant see any other result. Its not likely to be a goal fest - Southend have only scored 5 in 4 home games and Stockport have conceded only 3 in 4 away games - so a 1-0 scoreline looks most likely. Kevin Betsy has been in the local paper saying his 1st Southend goal is due, so he'll likely shoot on sight. And a great price @ 16/1 at Ladbrokes (9/1 most other places). The 1-0 is 13/2 bp.

Coca cola League One
Bristol Rovers v Leyton Orient
Bristol home form is not terrific W1 D1 L2 Scoring 9 conceding 7 recent form in six games is W1 D2 L3
Leyton Orient away form is not bad W2 D2 L2 scoring 8 conceding 10 recent form in six is W1 D2 L3
I feel that a draw is the right bet here
Draw@3.51
Leeds v Brighton
Leeds home form is W3 D1 L1 scoring 15 conceding 8 recent form in six W5 L1
Brighton away are still yet to lose W2 D1 scoring 7 conceding 4 recent form in six D4 L2
Leeds are not the side they were last year but still think a strong Leeds win
Leeds@1.61
Milton Keynes Dons v Carlisle
MK home form is W2 L1 scoring 6 conceding 4 recent form in six W4 L2
Carlisle away form W1 D1 L2 scoring 5 conceding 6 recent form in six W2 D1 L3
Mk dons are a side going places in my view Carlisle are not as good as last season so far so a home win
Milton Keynes Dons@2
Scunthorpe v Crewe
Scunthorpe home form W3 L1 scoring 6 conceding 3 recent form in six W5 D1
Crewe away form D1 L3 scoring 4 conceding 11 recent form in six W1 D1 L4
Can’t see anything else but home win
Scunthorpe@1.51
Walsall v Peterborough
Walsall home form is W3 L1 scoring 9 conceding 6 recent form in six W4 D1 L1
Peterborough away form is D1 L2 scoring 1 conceding 3 recent form in six W2 D2 L2
Another home win Walsall playing some good football scoring for fun, pete are in a defenseive crisis for the match Craig Morgan and Gabriel Zakuani are away on internationals, Chris Westwood is struggling with a calf infury and left-back Jamie Day is out for the rest of the season.
Walsall@2.3
Walsall win half time full time @4.1
Sunday League one
Oldham v Hereford
Oldham home form W3 D1 scoring 11 conceding 4 recent form in six W3 D3
Hereford away form is terrible L4 Scoring 2 conceding 10 recent form in six W1 D2 L3
Oldham are my tip to go automatic promotion this year and playing home against the worst team in the league
Oldham@1.59
Bet of the day Walsall win half time full time @4.1
Five fold (all apart from the draw)
odds@17.6 _________________ Bookies Worst Nighmare In The Making

Apologises for the french tip last night shocker from Strasbourg.
English - League 1
Scunthorpe - Crewe
Scunthorpe are in great form at the moment and sit in 2nd place in the league, they are unbeaten in 9 games in all competitions and won 8 of those games and have won their last 5 home matches in all comps. Crewe are 3rd from bottom in the league and have lost 6 of their 9 league games with just 1 point away from home in 4 matches. Recent from they have lost 5 of their last 7 games in all comps. Anything other than a Scunthorpe win would be a shock.
Scunthorpe @ 1.55
England - League 2
Shrewsbury v Port Vale
Shrewsbury lie in 4th place in the league and come into this game off the back of a 7-0 demolition of Wycombe in the JPT during the week so confidence will be high going into this game and why wouldn't it be with The Shrews winning all 4 home games in the league scoring 14 goals and conceding none. Port Vale come into this in dire form have lost their last 5 league games and scoring just 3 times so taking everything into account it is hard to see past a Shrewsbury win today
Shrewsbury @ 1.57 _________________ Rafael de Silva - The next big thing
