Excellent signing for Juve.
Still think their priority shoud've been a centre-back! |

Didnt see that coming, strange move that. Thought he'd go to a club that might win something. _________________ betking vs man o bong

This is the start of a new era at Juve and they will be Inter's main challengers next season. New playmaker and new manager. _________________ "Statistics are like mini-skirts .. they give you good ideas but hide the most important parts." > One-A-Day Football Challenge for January now open. |

Can we get this tread made sticky so it's at the top of the forum and easy to find? _________________ Since Celtic can't get into the Premier League, Strachan is giving the players a chance to get Boro there |

It's still gonna take a number of years for Juventus to biuld their squad into anything near like it was before the Calciopoli Scandal.
Cobolli Gigli has already stated Buffon will be staying and this move for Diego shows good ambition.
But thats nearly all the champions league money gone already on one player, I'd dare say there will be a few players shipped out this summer also.
Altho its pretty hard to tell how much cash the big Italian clubs make from TV money atm as they have the responsibility of selling their own broadcasting rights.
From 2010 Serie A broadcasting rights will go back to collective selling. Projected package of 900m Euro with 40% going to Serie A clubs 30% based on final table standings and 30% on fan following, Meaning Juventus can earn as much as 87m Euro a year from TV money.
So hopefully some more big money signings on the way |

they still just too weak, they are having miserables results these season.
their priority should be the centre back, but Diego its a great player, its a good start form Juve about the summer transfers |

I know this is a dodgy one but I dreamt that Gary Cahill signed for Liverpool. As much as I realise this is a bit of a shocker to take a punt and no one should take anything on dreams, but I actually saw the press conference and everything, very confusing I can tell you haha.
But still, with the release of Sami Hyypia to Bayer Leverkusen, a spot has become available for a young centre back to ply his trade. The only reason I can suspect for Benitez even thinking about signing Cahill is due to the new rule possibly being implemented within a few season ensuring 5 players are homegrown in each 11. Cahill is a good player and has recently been linked with Arsenal, he's the type of player they need realistically. Maybe a cheeky punt on him to move to one of the top 4 clubs is more realistic than to Liverpool but just thought I'd enlighten everyone just in case it actually does happen, if so, i'll be absolutely gutted! |

| sebastian giovinco can do exactly the same job as diego. bad signing, player unrest for sure next season or look for him to leave 2, five foot 6 players in an italian champions league squad, no chance. gio for supersub ? |
