Everton 1.50 at very best in that match for me, even thats very generous. Dont see Spurs finishing top 6 so Everton look strong favourites.

Hull to go down must be a strong fancy too, they need massivce strengthening and I cant see how thay can get it.

I will be very surprised if Everton are as short as 1.5 for that match Betking.
I would guess it will be closer to 5/6 each. Both Teams done well this year considering....Everton getting over their bad injury list and Tottenham recovering from their bad start to the League under Ramos.A lot could depend on how much Harry has to spend and of course, how he spends it and Everton will have Yakubu back as well as Arteta at some stage.
IMO this is a season match bet that is hard to call at this early stage.

certainly wont be anywhere near 1.5, i think next season spurs may in fact be faves due to strengthening over summer. wont be much in it. considering spurs had 2 points from their first 8 games (and struggled for a while after) and still finished only 11 behind everton, so once they got going they were fairly equal.

Everton - Spurs should be pretty evenly priced as a match bet before the start of next season...

Think bookies will do the same with Villa - Man City and Fulham - West Ham. Can see those being very even as a match bet...

Bolton - Blackburn could be another interesting one, and I think that Wolves - Stoke could be pretty evenly priced as well. Win

Looking for some decent match bets with someone myself, not done too well with them this season. Lose

First post on here, been reading for a little while so hi...

Anyways, yeah I'd say they were pretty much even for me at the minute, spurs are strong all over the pitch and will have money to spend, everton have consistently been good for the past few years....

Paddy Power and Sky have started Championship outrights for next year, which I've had a look at...

Newcastle at 9/2 is a definite Lay, they will have to sell the vast majority of players and surely the price will drift when bookies see Owen, Martins etc leaving...it's also not as easy as people think for a relegated team to go straight up

Despite this I feel West Brom are quite good value at 13/2, they will keep most of the side (may lose Brunt and Morrison though) and just need a striker to be right up there...most of the players have won this before and Mowbray knows the division inside out.

Ipswich at 10/1 isn't good value at the minute but Keane worked wonders with Sunderland at this level and will have money to spend. If a couple of big players are bought the price will shorten so may be worth a small interest now.

My team QPR are bad value at 14/1, the bookies are looking at the riches of our owners rather than the actual squad. That said, a couple of decent signings in the right areas (striker, left back) and we will challenge.

Cardiff probably one to keep an eye on at 20/1, depends if they lose players like Ledley and Johnson. Very unlucky to miss play-offs this year and could string something together.

In terms of long shots, will be interesting to see how Peterboro (33/1) recruit this summer. They have money, have goalscorers, and a top manager in Ferguson.

Only other very very long shot is Doncaster at 80/1. Had a good second half to the season, have a good manager in O'Driscoll, but need 3 or 4 top signings to truly challenge, especially up front.

What are your guys views?

For the last few weeks I have felt if Boro go down they will come straight back up. VC Bet go 7/1 on Boro being Champions and I feel that would be nice value at present.

They will not lose many of their squad and I feel the lads who came through the academy are likely to give them one season to get the club back up rather than move on. I expect Tuncay and Downing to move on but the likes of Johnson and Wheater will stay. With Southgate set to stay on the continuity will help.

If they can buy/loan a decent goalkeeper and 20 goal season striker I think the odds of 7/1 are well worth a play.

Newcastle have a lot more wrong with them than Boro and will struggle to get out next season. 4/1 is an absolute joke to be honest.

West Brom have experience of bouncing straight back and as Birmingham showed this season you don't have to play that well to return. Again they won't lose too many players and the structure is in place to return.

I backed QPR for promotion this season about july time. I expected them to put that money to some good use but they signed young foreign reserve team players on loan (Parejo, Ledesma, Di Carmine) and seemed reluctant to part with bigger money. I think that until they are prepared to spend £3m+ on a player they'll struggle to get promotion.
As for Doncaster I don't think that's a bad shout at all. They play good passing football and could do well if they get a few big signings.
My favourites for winning it would be Ipswich. I think Keane with money behind him has shown what he can do at Sunderland and I think as soon as he starts buying players (and Newcastle start selling) their price will drop.

can't see newcastle bouncing back up with their current team, you need commitment and passion to get out of the championship, something they don't have. however under shearer or new management they will restructure and it really depends how well the team gel
the bet for me is either West Brom to win it outright 13/2 or for them to be promoted 11/4, ill definetely wait till August though as there are some dangerous teams in the championship to challenge newcastle boro and baggies if they strengthen well. My team Coventry out at 10/1 for promotion is criminally short.

Yea i think West Brom are a good bet next season. As previously stated they will keep most of their squad. They have no debt as a club and i reckon Tony has been planning next season for a few months already.

Newcastle are in trouble and i can't see how they will be able to sort everything out for next season. In 3 years or so maybe, but not next year, bar a miracle.

Middlesborough haven't got it that much better than Newcastle. I mean yes they will keep most of their squad but they have massive debt for a club going into the Championship and their is no guarantee that their long standing chairman will stay either. Top six finish is likely.

I think Swansea could be the suprise package again next season. If their hang onto Jason Scotland especially. But West Brom most definitely look a decent price at this early stage. I will be waiting until August before i decide anything though. Best to see what happens over the summer.

StanJames go 100/1 for hearts to win the league next year, although they wont win the league 1/5 of the odds for the first three surely makes hearts 20/1 to finish third. I think this is excellent value if i am reading this correctly?
