Was just having a look at the games today and Corinthians (2nd in the league) are £4.00 to beat Athletico PR (Bottom of the league)...was just wondering why they are priced so high?
Does anyone have any info on this? |

| Yeah, that's because they have a cup game mid-week so they're resting their first eleven, just like they did last week against Goais. |

Corinthians next game is against Internacional in the final of the Brazil Cup. They are 2-0 up from the first leg but coach Mano Menezes has said that he will rest some of his squad for this game tonight against Atletico PR to keep them fresh for the Cup game. Just how many players he's going to rest i'm not sure but Corinthians have a big squad an can cope with being able to rest a few players.
I personally still think Corinthians have a great chance of recording their first away win. I suppose it doesn't look good that they have only scored 1 goal in their opening 3 away games but I've took them on the Draw no Bet going at 2/1 for abit of safety as the home side are leaking to much at the back. |

| Sao Paolo sacked their coach Murcy Ramalho last Friday after defeat against fellow Brazilian club Cruzeiro in the Copa Libertadores. They have only won 1 of their opening 7 league games, a good 3-0 home win over Cruzeiro. Still unbeating at home from first 3 league games but they havn't been playing well of late. They now have just the Campeonato to concentrate on an should get back to winning ways tonight. They are reigning champions since 2006 an have arguably the best squad of players in this league. Nautico have lost their last 3 games played. last 2 away games were back to back 3-0 defeats. I'd expect a comfortable home win tonight. |
