Here are my selelctions for tonight at some tasty prices
Swindon -1 v Oldham 17/10
One of the inform teams going well at present fancy a couple of goals to nil against a poor oldham side who are just 2 places off the bottom 4 on goal difference.
Bury -1 v Maccelsfield 13/8
Playing some brilliant football at the minute after a slow start to the season unbeaten in there last 7 i fancy them to keep this going againt an average Maccelsfield side who have only won 2 games out of their previous 13
Rushden & Diamonds -1 v Eastbourne Borough 8/5
Rushden are scoring goals for fun and fancy them to carry on their goalscoring exploits against an Eastbourne side that concede too many goals on the road
Stevenage -1 v Mansfield 2/1
After 2 successive defeats one at home to lowely Gateshead i feel Mansfield will have a string of defeats in some hard and upcoming games against some inform sides, Stevenage are still unbeaten at home this season & i cant see past another home victory |

I think Manchester City is a good bet too (against Bolton)... City has a good record at home and they need these 3 points to keep up for the 4th place. A few of their injured players are now back in the sqaud (Santa cruz, Richards and Lescott)
I am going for a City win with at least a 2 goal cushion
City win @1.49
its not much, but its always good for in a combi...
City win (Asian Handicap -1) @ 2.10
I think there is good value in this bet
btw: my first tip here... so if it is a crappy one... please be nice to me |

Disagree....Hangerland would have headed the ball away if he hadnt blatantly pushed him in the back...
Just another example why Kevin Davies gives the most fouls away in the Premiership!! _________________ Winner of November '07 Racing Challenge..

Barnsley for me at Boro DNB 3.0
Everyone has a team they keep an eye on, and Middlesbrough have been mine for a while
They have won just once in 2010, and just twice in the last 10. Their home form is poor, winning 1 of their last 6 against Sunthoprpe on Boxing Day.
Since then they have scored 1 goal in 3 matches at the Riverside, where the cold wind whistles earily around their half-deserted stadium
Barnsley have won 3 of their last 6 away, and having had a shaky start to 2010 themselves, but got back on track by spanking Preston 4-1 away last time
It is only 5 weeks since Barnsley came back from a goal down to beat the Boro 2-1 in Barnsley. 2/1 just too tasty, and I will be having a bit of the 4.33 for the straight win too
Ipswich to win to nil 4.0 and
Ipswich to win by one 4,5 at QPR has also caught my eye
Demoralised QPR haven't scored in 3 games, have won once in their last 10 and on current showing are the worst side in the division.
Ipswich are hardly prolific, but if they can get one goal here, it could be enough |

A While since I posted my slections to thread but here we go:
Man City v Bolton - Man City win @ 1.45
would be suprised if City failed to beat bolton. City have won 8 home from 12 and are undefeated (3 draws). Bolton have certainly picked up a bit since the change of manager but I think City should be able to take this.
Man City will be missing Bellamy who is getting his long standing knee problem looked at.
Bolton are missing important centre back Gary Cahill.
Portsmouth v Sunderland - Draw @ 3.3
Both teams are lacking in confidence languishing 18th and 20th of the form table. Portsmouth have won 3 and drawn 1 at home while Sunderland have only won 1 and drawn 2 away from home. This is a big chance for Pompey to get some points against a struggling side but Sunderland will feel the same.
PICK OF THE DAY - Fulham v Burnley (AH-0.75) @ 2.06
Burnleys 1 point in 12 away games surely suggests that Fulham are a good bet here. Fulham have won 7 of their 12, losing 3 and only conceeding 8. 1.76 seems like outstanding value to me with Fulhams dip in form really being down to a lot of away games recently
How on earth Fulham have odds over evens with a sub 1 handicap begs belief, unless I'm very much mistaken (and i'm not an expert on handicaps) a -0.75 handicap means they only need to win my 1 goal but the price offered (on the tipster comp anyway) is 2.06 as opose 1.76 for the straight win. |

Tranmere to beat Gillingham @ 3.8
Dont see a huge amount of value in other markets and with this being a relegation six pointer and Tranmere showing better form than Gillingham recently, I fancy them here. Both sides are battling against relegation and both really need a win tonight. If Tranmere win tonight they will be level points with Gillingham which is a massive incentive. They lost a big game against Oldham on Saturday and Les Parry will want his team to respond positivley tonight. Theyve done ok of late drawing away at Charlton, beating Yeovil at home and four defeats in 14 matches is really good form considering where they are in the league. Gillingham havent won in eight matches and they were thrashed 4-0 at Brentford on Saturday in what was a really demorilising loss. Manager Mark Stimson is under a lot of pressure after the loss and if things arent going well the fans may get on his back and the players might not respond either. Theyve got quite a few players out as well and I think Tranmeres solidity will be really important tonight. Theyve won their last three games against Gillingham and even beat them 4-2 when John Barnes was in charge, which could be a good indication to their chances here as theyve improved a lot since then.
Sunderland to beat Portsmouth @ 3.25
Massive game down the bottom of the league, Portsmouth are in a huge amount of trouble on and off the pitch and Sunderland havent won since November. Pompey were simply atrocious at Old Trafford on Saturday and it was maybe the worst defending Ive seen from a team in the Premier League. Everything about them looks patched up and theres no structure to the team. There doesnt seem to be any organization on the field and tonight they could be without Anthony Vanden Borre who played ok on Saturday and the talented Kevin Prince Boateng through injury. Sunderland havent won in 11 PL matches and they could be in big trouble if they dont win tonight. Its very true that the longer you go without winning, the harder it is to win a game. But I look at Kenwyne Jones, Darren Bent and Benjani and I say to myself Sunderland will get chances tonight and theres a very good chance that strikeforce can put at least two chances away. They played well in the second half against Wigan on Saturday and they looked really up for it. If they play like they did in that second half, this awful run of form should end and another nail could be knocked in to Portsmouth FCs coffin.
Wigan and Stoke to draw @ 3.4
Wigan have won just three games at home this season and Stoke are yet to win on the road, that form points towards a draw for me. I said on Saturday that Wigan have a squad of a players with an attitude problem and I stand by that as theyve played badly in both domestic cups this season and their league form has been poor. They dont score many goals and were holding on at Sunderland on Saturday but did well to nick a point. Theyve won just one of their last nine in the league and their approach is quite negative which is a surprise considering Martinezs Swansea scored goals. Im starting to really appreciate Stoke and Ive got a huge amount of respect for Tony Pulis. Ive seen quite a bit of them recently and they are extremley solid. They beat Blackburn 3-0 on Saturday in what is a massive win for them in my opinion and everyone at the club has a clear mind of what they are trying to do. A point will be a great result for them tonight and six matches unbeaten in all competition suggests they are in the form to get exactly that. Two of the three PL meetings between these two have ended in draws and the first meeting of the season ended 2-2 with the game famed for that great Figueroa goal from inside his own half.
Emmanuel Adebayor to score first goal in City v Bolton match @ 5
Emmanuel Adebayor has looked in very good form since returning from compassionate leave and has scored in his last two games. He scored in the defeat at Hull on Saturday and scored the first goal the previous week against Portsmouth at Eastlands. Roberto Mancini was very disappointed with how City played on Saturday and I expect them to be pretty dominant tonight and fired up for this gane. Theyve got good enough wide players to get good delivery in to the box and with Bolton missing Gary Cahill for the rest of the season, Adebayor might have things a little bit easier tonight and I like his chances to get the first goal.
Fulham -0.75 v Burnley @ 2.02
Burnley will be full of confidence after they beat West Ham in a big game on Saturday but they go back on the road tonight and anyone who follows the league knows how poor Burnley have been away from home this season. Theyve picked up just one point on the road and although Brian Laws seems to be getting a foothold on the squad now and hes made better signings than I thought he had, I still think they will lose tonight. Fulham have got plenty of injuries and this is the start of a really testing period for them as they play Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League next week and obviously have the league to contend with. They havent conceded in their last two games and theyve been very strong at home this seasona and their form at the Cottage has been a big factor in their success since Roy Hodgson came in. They drew 1-1 at Turf Moor in the first meeting this season and that gives me plenty of belief that they will win tonight. _________________ Read my Boxing blogs, previews of fights happening all over the World. Man City vs Bolton
This is a very important game for City.
Robert Mancini knows that if they want to finish the league in 4th place they need to win game like this. They have big stats at home.
Cahill is out for Bolton and he is very very important for them on defense.
Klasnic is out and is very very important for the offense.
Probably this will be not a 3-0 or something like that game, but i can see only the win for City.
Carlitos Tevez First Goalscorer
This is one of that game for Carlitos.
They need a win and i think he'll play a fantastic game.
Under Fulham vs Burnley
I see something like 1-0 2-0 here. Fulham haven't scored many goals in recent games and Burnley is very very poor away from home.
have a good bet!! |
