Do any of you guys read Soccernet?
I noticed this guy on there, Sean Smith, when I first started betting on Soccer/Football a cople of years ago, and I noticed he always submitted his tips on what he thought would happen, so I obviously took an interest in following what this `expert' would put his money on. I have been sorely disappointed at his results - I long stopped placing any relevance on his tips, now I just drop by to see if he's managed to get any right!
Sean Smith's Tips (URL HERE)
If you look at his results, this season he's staked £1,995.00 and had a return of £2,005.25.
For an Overall Profit of £10.25
(Or a yield of 0.005%)
I sure hope we're all doing a little better than that!
What I find a little hard to understand is that they persist in publishing this guy's tips, when following his tips is obviously fraught with danger!
Has anyone else noticed him? Also, first time I found him, and for the first maybe 10 months, they did not publish his profit/loss position, so if you were just dropping by you had no way to judge whether he was good or not - you just had to assume he knew what he was talking about because he was on a fairly reputable website.
As a word of warning, I'll let you know what his tips for tonight are.
2 Certainties (Singles & A Double)
Villareal
Juventus
Wolves
Preston NE
Brentford
Personally, I like 4 of those, though I think Plymouth/Preston will more likely be a dour 0-0 or 1-1 draw. Also, I'm maybe a little worried Brentford may be feeling the heat a bit and might also grab a draw with Yeovil.
Anyone else seen this guy? |

| yeah hes not the best although i think alot of that is to do with the fact that he puts up alot of acumulators to keep the average reader happy |

When I was tipping back then, I was not allowed to tip the way that I wanted to tip.
That is why I left ESPN and now run my own tipping website. My current profit for the season is 16.56% and is my third profitable season since breaking away.
Every tip is recorded on my website. Just google "Footbet". ESPN were making money from the bookies and my mandate was accumulators that, I can tell you after six years as a bookie, do not pay...
Thanks for giving me the opportunity for clearing my name
