FIFA.com are running a new Prediction game. Prizes include tickets to World Cup games 2010.

I've set up a league intended for OLBG members. For league code just PM me.
The premise is quite simple, pick the result of matches from leagues around the world & there's a bonus 100pts available for getting the correct score on one of the matches. _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. I hope people aren't being put off by the fact the first two matches on the list are Korean & Egyptian games
And yea, I know that South American matches are hard to predict but it's free, it's a bit of fun and it's quite possible one of us will win the grand prize
Had a good response with PM's so far, but only one person has actually joined me in the league There's 3 days to go before the game officially starts so there's still plenty of time to get people involved.
Wonder if this game would actually be easier for non-European players as I'm pretty sure the Euro Leagues are shown worldwide, whereas coverage of non-European games seems to be rather slim in this country _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. If you need any more motivation to win, the person with the most points on each matchday (globally obviously, not just on OLBG) wins a football shirt signed by a world cup winner
Come on guys, theres only 2 of us so far, but its still worth a go, even if you just guess half the results (like me) _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here

Plus bragging rights for OLBG go for a fortune on eBay
It's another competition for people to be able to lord over for being top OLBG scorer, and it's free & it might make you think about punting on the matches in particular & therefore win some dosh...
BTW, if anyone has pm'd me & they don't seem to have a reply I apologise. There's three pm's sitting in my "outbox", does that mean they've been sent? Or are they waiting to be sent? To be honest, I get confused _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. We get bigger, we get taller, we get older. I've just been informed that bragging rights are non-transferable.
Once you have them, that's it... You're stuck with them....
As an aside, if you're thinking "Oh no, not another competition. I'll never remember them all" it's run by FIFA.com & by signing up you get weekly emails about the comp as well so you don't forget... (which may be a reason not to sign up for all I know). _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. We get bigger, we get taller, we get older. It's just pick the "Home Draw Away" in this weekends matches that they give you. You only get to predict the score in 1 match for another 100pt bonus, I don't think it hurts you if you get the score wrong...

I'd say it's only tough if you're a Spurs fan but you're not wrong either, the way Liverpool are playing anything could happen! _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. spider, if the PMs are in your outbox, it means you've sent them, but the recipient hasnt read them yet. Once they've read them, they go into the sentbox.....I think thats right anyway
And no, theres no penatly for getting the score wrong - but 100pts for getting it right! _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here

Thanks betking!
I was just worried that the PM replies hadn't all gone out
I would have posted about this Prediction game earlier but for some reason all the emails I normally get on a Friday only came through yesterday & so I didn't know about it
Would've been nice to have a few more people on board, but I guess it would be just as easy to set up a secondary mini-league if/when a few more people would like to have a go _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. thank you spider2097 for the info about the predictor and the idea of the OLBG league.
I have just signed in at fifa.com and I am expecting the password I asked spider for.
If of any useful, my tip for the south american match Botafogo v Santos is 1-1 (I played my joker) both teams will be very respectful of each other and have had very similar performances.
Good luck there to all OLBG tipsters _________________ tipstonga
