NEAREST THE BULL,(NTB),Competition

Hello OLBG,Members,
[ptf] this 'nearest the bull',[NTB],competition

You will regularly given a set of live football matches,and you will have to come up with what you think will be the,'Total Goal Minutes',[TGM],of all the goals scored,in those games.

For example;in last Saturdays,[2/2/08], Eng'Prem,there were 8,games.
The TGM,in those matches was

889,mins.(=BULL)

The stats for 2/2/08,were

TGM=889,mins
GOALS=16
GOALS PER MATCH=2
AVERAGE TGM PER MATCH=111.125
AVERAGE TGM,[per goal] was=55.56,mins

So;you can make a slightly educated attempt at what the TGM might be.
You might work to a formula like...

Games x goals x average tgm
or
Games x average tgm,per match.

All you entry will look like is something like a
3,or 4,figure number.[855 for example]

The winner will be the entry that is 'NEAREST THE BULL',
either UNDER the actual figure,or OVER it,so if the target
TGM is 1,000 and you went 950,you would be 50,off.
Someone else might enter 1050,and they would be 50 off also.

There will be 4 awards,[MEDALS],per NTB game played.

1st wins a platinum medal
2nd wins a gold
3rd wins a silver
4th wins a bronze

These will be announced,and a running
Medals table will be kept.

So if you fancy a go,the first NTB,will be run using the TEN
friendly football internationl games.being played on Wednesday
6th Feb,and they are...

Slovenia v Denmark
Cyprus v Finland -
Croatia v Netherlands
Austria v Germany
Ireland v Brazil

Northern Ireland v Bulgaria
Wales v Norway -
Italy v Portugal

England v Switzerland

Spain v France

It is possible to hit the BULL smack on the head, (RARE)
but will it be YOU?

NEXT NTB (AFTER this one),will be on Saturday 9/2/08
using the 7,Eng Prem games,all assuming anybody,plays the first one
this coming Wedneday.

ALL TGM's will be taken from the site
www.goalzz.com

All games are for 90,mins played,and the latest goal will be 90,mins
If any games are postponed,or not recorded,then you entry
will be reduced automatically.
