Hi Dobermangolfer.Thanks and Good Luck.
Hi Kathy,Yes a test of your 'all round' sports interests.
-------------------------------------------------------------
My WEEKENDER 'go' is right in the middle of the Predicted Spread at 285
For this Weekender,[19/20th],entrants will score 'pts',relative to their %,[whole number]
OFF the actual Weekender final total. This will be 'held',then added to the next weeks,[26/27th]
A list will be posted
If the Weekender gets resonable support, the comp will start properly
for the month of May,and might take the form of a 'pts' chase.
WEEKENDER events lists will be posted normally around each Friday
tea-time..6,pm ish,[uk]
Again;if you have any queries, please post and ask,but the best way of doing things,is just enter, and play.
Regards
choppy

I must admit this has confused the heck out of me.
Im assuming that for part 1, if we think there will be 1 booking, then thats 10pts, and x5 = 50pts? So 50pts would be my guess for that part? And I then add the other totals together for my final guess?
What about
FOOTBALL: Saturday Premier League
4 games at 3pm
PLUS 50pts per home goal, MINUS 50pts per away goal
Can make up negative
I dont understand this one at all Sorry choppy, I must be having a bad day... |

Hello Betking,
Firstly.ALL the 6 elements are aggregated tog',to make the final score.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[1].Yes;all the bookings pts are x 10,so you thoughts are correct.
[2].The Football...Its for the 4,.. 3pm kick offs.Each home goal = 50 pts.Each away goal,minus 50,pts,so;if there were 6 home goals,that would = 6x50=300
and if there were 4 away goals that would be 4x50=200.
Therefore that element, would come out at 100 plus pts
300,home goals,minus
200,away goals,=
--------------------------
100+,pts
--------------------------
It could work out negative,if those goals were scored the other way around..[200 home goals-minus 300 away goals=100,pts-negative]
So;if all the other 5 elements scored 100+,pts..that would be
500,pts,but if the footy went 100,pts negative, then that would come off the 500,making the Weekender's final total..400.
You can see that the 'prediction' is for 275/295,giving an average of 285,which works out at 47.5,pts per element,so if you think they will work out more each time, then go higher, but go Lower,if you think otherwise.
During the course of the Weekender unfolding,I will update it,something like this>>>
220,pts-after 4,events
-------------------------------------
Just nipping up the pub now for an hour.If I can help you any further, please post.
Regards
