Greatwood Open Day-Sunday 2nd September

We would like to welcome as many people as possible to the Greatwood Open Day on 2nd of September 2007. OLBG are the proud sponsor of the day, and want to show our support to the charity which does so much great work in the rescue and rehabilitation of retired racehorses. It will be a fun day where all the family can meet the horses and help raise awareness and funds.

Many of the OLBG team will be there and you can put some faces to names. We are also expecting several prominent trainers to be parading their horses on the day as well as some famous names from the industry.
Current invitees include Alan King, Nicky Henderson,Richard Hannon to name but a few.

Everyone is welcome and it would be great if we could show what a fantastic together community we are by getting behind the day. We all enjoy sport and get a lot out of it, this is our chance to put something back and help a wonderful charity.

Yes looking forward to this...

Greatwood will have their own resident starts such as Deano Beano, Potentate and Montendre on show. Rehomed horses Agitando and Natterjack will be showing off their dressage skills.

As well as the horsies and some famous names from within racing there will also be birds of prey, pony club games, shetland parade, the OLBG gazeebo, refreshments and more..

Open from 11am
Parade starts 12.30
Day finishes 3.30

Entry £5 a head with children under 12 free

I would have thought there would have bee far more interest in this day than has been shown thus far

I really wanted to go but Villa play Chelsea same day so afriad i cant make it, bit gutted really as really was looking forward to it, almost tempted to ditch the Villa lol
