Sticking with the Man City v Fulham Overs. Good price for two teams are open to goals and scoring. Cant see this at all being a defensive showpiece.. City will be too good.

Not considering any of the Villa bets, I honestly am a bit surprised that it seems a lot of people are being blinded by recent results when in reality, they would happily settle for a draw, if they can achieve that. Villa's PL away record against top half sides is really nothing to shout about. They have been clinical against bottom half sides but I am unconvinced about when they come up against sides like Everton, who are tough to break down.
Have gone with the Newcastle win for BOTW, I also think that Man City overs is a cracking bet, but considering our record for jinxing goals bets, I think it's best left alone!
Not totally convinced by Newcastle just yet, but they've shown just enough in the last few weeks to justify this being a good value price. _________________ Corner vulture

Villa DNB
Villa re flying form is top draw scores going in from all angles and from a variety of players, worth sticking with while in such good form
obv going to be the bet of the week so......... _________________ Creative web design and brand management service

ManC +2.5goals:
With Fulhams lack of goals and ManC much poorer 2nd half of the season where they've not been involved in many Overs (unless they're the one taking the beating) i'll give this a miss.
WHam v Newc:
Surely we can't completely ignore Newc away form of 3-4-10. But of much more concern to me is apart from that bizarre game at WHLane where Spurs imploded Newc haven't won or looked like winning an away game since their scrappy 1-0 win at Fulham last December. Add in their dodgy defence with only 3 midfielders sitting in front of and i'm not seeing the Newc win. They're not a great side & they're defence is appalling. I alos thought for large parts last week Sund played them off the park.
So VILLA DNB for me. I think Villa are good enough to at worst get a draw at Goodison. Everton sorely miss Cahill & have lost a bit of spark too. _________________ Steve |

Have gone for Newcastle win, it is the best odds on offer and is as likely as the other 3 on offer.
I understand Bigmoose's piont about Newcastle's poor away record overall, but they may weel be a 'streak' team - a run of poor results resulting in low confidence but that appears to have changed recently, and they are on a good run now. Also, they still have good players and the front 3 on form are a handful.
I would not be too unhappy with the other choices - we've chosen odds against for the 2.5 choice (rather than a 1.7 shot) which is progress, there's always a few of these each week, they just need to be found.
Villa are on form, and although Everton are struggling a bit they're still a tough side to beat away from home. Therefore I think Newcastle are better value than the DNB or odds on Villa on the AH. |

You are perfectly correct in what you say titan - BUT, Everton are playing like a lower league side of late and Villa have become a completely different kind of threat since Ashley Young was given his free roll. _________________ AVFC - PROUD HISTORY, BRIGHT FUTURE

I'd be quite happy with any of these as BotW. In fact I was tempted not to vote
However, bearing in mind the stats about Villa's away form my vote goes with Newcastle. I don't like NUFC, but I have to admit that's a great price for them to win against a West Ham side with very little to play for other than trying to consolidate 10th place in the table _________________ How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Of the above i will go for Newcastle.Im not very confident about any but Newcastle are on a good run at the moment and have a very good recent record against Westham. They are unbeaten in their last five meetings against Westham, winning five of them and winning their last two games at Upton Park.Newcastle are looking a bit more solid at the back and with Owen in good form at the moment they can win this.Westham struggled past Derby last week with a 2-1 win, only their 1st win in five games and 2nd win in nine. They dont score many goals and they dont really have anything to play for now.I think Newcastle will win this so gets my vote.

All these picks are great ones this week. There is not a single one I really dislike and would back them all personally.
Everton v Aston Villa- Aston Villa +.25@1.89
This is my first choice. Villa are going great guns while Everton are in somewhat of a slump. :NAP:
1x2 West Ham v Newcastle- Newcastle@2.88
Neither side have anything much to play for really. I do try to avoid betting on meaningless matches. However I would pick Newcastle in this.
Others - Aston Villa DNB @5/4
This would be my second choice.
Goals - Over 2.5 Man City v Fulham @2.15
My last choice of the lot but I still think itshas a pretty good chance of coming in. |
