At odds of 12/5 for a Portsmouth away win..this would have been great a few weeks ago...but they seem to be in decline at the moment.
Middlesborough themselves no great shakes...still slight relegation worries.
Really think this could be a draw...Midd very happy with that. Ports still outside chance of Europe and will give it a go.
DRAW......at 9/4 (Bookies have it odds-on for both teams to score...that equals 1-1 at some time) |

Middlesbrough need the points, make no mistake. They know what it is like to go down on the last day of the season, and will be keen to not repeat it.
Whether that makes them worth supporting at 2.10, I am not sure.
Its a long way for Portsmouth to come for nothing, and I just have a feeling that the Boro may be ruing missed chances over the season at the end of this one - leaving Teesside nerves in tatters for the last week.
They should have comfortably beaten Bolton, scored both goals in the 1-1 draw at Spurs, could have beaten Man U, were robbed by both Sunderland and Reading in the last minute, could have beaten Arsenal.....etc.......
You get my point?
Simply put, Boro are the unluckiest team on the planet, and Portsmouth should be backed at 3.25 to inflict more distress. Probably with a wicked deflection off a passing pigeon in the 93rd......... |

can somone/anyone confirm whether Pompey players will be suspended for the Cup final if they pick up yellow/red cards in league games? What i mean is are the BPL and Cup independent, i.e. cards picked up in the BPL will/will not be counted for the Cup final?
i suspect Rednapp will be resting players for that game as it might be their realistic chance of Europe qualification. More so, if he does not want to risk key players picking up suspensions. Hence the above question.
Thanks. _________________ EPL Big 4 AH record

can't see this being an exciting match, only 10 goals in pompey's last 6 PL games and it is highly unlikely that boro will be relegated, but i think it's still mathematically possible if results go against them and they lose both of their remaining matches. a draw should suit them fine.
odds on under 2.5 goals are 1.66ish, which i think is more than fair.
Best 1X2 bet: draw
Best AH bet : Boro DNB
Best Under/Over bet: Unders
Best Other bet : Boro to keep a clean sheet
BEST BET : Under 2.5 goals _________________ Corner vulture

Portsmouth will be pussyfooting around worried about injuries and suspensions. Middlesbrough will be looking to completly secure their premiership status. A comfortable home win.
1X2 Middlesbrough
Goals: Over 2.5
A/H-1 Middlesbrough
Other: Alves AGS
Best Bet: Middlesbrough around evens |
