Stage 3 Thursday/Friday
We discuss and vote on which of the 4 bets to go for based on the vote winners from each category thread. So we will have one 1X2 bet, one AH bet, one Under/Over bet and one Other bet to vote between to decide on our final bet.

Stage 4 Friday
We then poll for the stake with lots of options (in units of 100) and take the weighted average of all votes rounded to the nearest £50.

Chelsea firing on 2 fronts (at the moment)....how will Champ League game affect them?

Newcastle at home would `just love to beat them!`

Have to say this is not a game I have too much confidence in...yes..Chelsea need to win...but not at 4/7 on.

This week is an absolute stinker!


I think Chelsea will win this, but Newcastle will give them a good run for their money for sure. Unbeaten in 7 and this is the last home game of the season - but Chelsea have enough class to squeak all 3 points. The inevitability of it is just too depressing!

I think Newcastle will score though, as they did at Stamford Bridge in December when they couldn't buy a goal, and if Chelsea are to win, then overs 2.05 looks good

Perhaps 3.20 for Chelsea to win by 1 for the ambitious........

chelsea have the best away record in the PL, i think that newcastle's recent form has flattered themselves, quality of teams they've played has been relatively poor and have yet to prove themselves under KK against a top team like chelsea.

too many uncertainties for this one and it is still too early to decide on this game.
we do not know if:
1) Chelsea qualified for the CL final, and
2) whether MU got their win against West Ham at home.
If MU win as expected, then most punters will be on Chelsea to at least match that result and drag the title decider to the last game. Too hot!

No matter how bad they are, Newcastle have to be respected whenever they play at home. They have also put together a respectable run of 7 games without defeat; coming back from 2 down at West Ham to draw shows that they are more resilient now.

Previous H2H here ended 0-0, 0-1, 1-0, 1-1, 1-0. Chelsea have not managed a win by >1 goal here for quite some time. In fact, the last home loss by more than 1 goal was 1-3 in 1985.
