|
|
This is real money and we currently have £1811.75 in the OLBG betting fund. This week on this market there are very few value options being discussed.
As the season has progressed the debate has become better, more informed, sensible and inciteful. Well done everyone. Some results have not gone for us and we have lost money, but lets finish with some wins and claw some money back.
We now have 4 categorys. This thread is for the 1x2 discussion and poll. Please add your reasoned posts and vote on which match we should go for in this category as our choice.
Remember our funds are growing and to work out the downside as well as the potential profit.
Stage 3 Thursday/Friday
Then for the final decision thread. We will be having a poll
Stage 4 Friday
We then poll for the stake with lots of options (in units of 100) and take the weighted average of all votes rounded to the nearest £50. |

Of the above i think Reading/Tottenham draw is best.Reading need the points but their having trouble scoring goals.Tottenham have drawn their last four games and look as though they have given up for this season. They are still putting out strong sides though and with Reading's lack of goals I think this will be a draw.
Villa should win but the price is a bit too short for the starihgt win.
Not sure about the other two.
Vote goes to Reading - Tottenham - DRAW |

Sorry, maybe I missed something but where did the choice of draw in the Fulham v Birmingham come from?
I can see from the match thread that the choice between Brum win & Fulham win was fairly close especially when you add in the choices from the AH category, but only one post mentioned the FT draw as an option but used HT draw as their choice of Best Bet.
I haven't voted yet in this category and to be perfectly honest none of the options appeal at this moment in time. _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. gone for reading vs spurs draw, seems excellent value and IMO is the most likely result.
also just to re-iterate spider's post, strange to see fulham draw in the mixer when a few people recommended the straight win?! _________________ www.priceform.com

From the interesting bets here I think Fulham win is almost certain and so I voted in AH. Also there are good chances that Spurs beat Reading.
So as Middlesbrough is not urged to win and Portsmouths will will end after the first Villa goal (AV win is of course a trivial result with trivial odds), I vote
Middlesbrough v Portsmouth- Draw@3.50
good luck _________________ tipstonga

Odds too poor on the Villa win.
Read v Spurs could be any result...Spurs (if they fancy it) could play a poor Reading of the park.
Fulham v Birm will be 2 teams going for the win and anything could happen.
Middles v Ports looks a reasonable call...with both teams nothing much to play for...personally think this will be 1-1....so gets my choice. |

Just been into all the individual match threads to help my voting. Except it didn't help at all. Witht he excpetion of Villa all others are here on "gut feel".
Boro v Pompey - Pompey are unbettable at the mo, no idea which team will turn up, be it personnel and/or performance. Pompey have enough characters that really hate losing but thier ability to pass a ball has deserted them again (anyone see 1st haldf of FA Cup semi? or away at ManU round before!). Jamo definitely out. Nope.
Reading - 2 home draws all season, although Spurs have had 8 away draws. Not sure, whch was general consensus in match thread i think. Nope.
Ful v Brum - One thing we all agree on here...... impossible to call. 2 very poor defences tho. Nope.
Villa Home Win - should happen. Can we go "all-in"??? _________________ Steve |

Villa in form and have played 4 good games now and got 10 points from a possable 12.
Wigan season look all but over and i realy cant see bent and co causing much of a problem to the villa defence that have been pretty solid most of the season.
Carew is in world class form and will be a major danger once again for wigan defence with the pace of young and gabby coming through.
Price is a bit short but fair and with many of us been at the game lets have this one lol _________________ OLBG'S RESIDENT DART PLAYER
