Sticking to form & proper stats Villa the no-brainer here. Of their 10 home wins 7 have been by a 2 goal margin or more. Wigan are dog on the road!

Bigmoose said it all for me - when we win at home we tend to win comfortably and I really can't see Wigan coping with the pace of Gabby, Young etc. I went to the game at the JJB earlier in the season and only the state of the pitch kept the score close.

Come on guys, let's take the value while it's there and give ourselves the best possible chance of hitting that magical £4k.

VILLA TO WIN BY 2 OR MORE GOALS. - £700 at 2.7 will give us 3k.

BEWARE OF THE SPLIT VOTE IF YOU FANCY ANY OF THE VILLA BETS!!!

I voted for Aston Villa to win @1.53. I do not like handicaps . Both teams still have something to play for especially with Wigan's last game against Man Utd.

I can't say I like any of these in all honesty. (And yes I'm aware that I put forward a bet that flew in the face of league history between two sides that garnered little support).

However, having to choose a bet from this list is actually quite easy for me. VILLA TO WIN BY 2 OR MORE GOALS @ 2.70

The price did it for me. The odds on the straight win are too short IMO, the -1 AH needs a two goal winning margin to be a winning bet & so I say we take the extra 0.65 on the price. True, there's no "safety net" of money back should Villa only win by 1 goal but given people's confidence in Villa I'm not sure caution should be our watchword right now.

I hope we can get the stake required/wished for above but given the way the stakes have turned out, I think some people are going to be disappointed.

I've also gone for the AH selection but was tempted by the 'Villa to win by 2 goals or more selection'

Wigan didn't lose in the whole of April but Villa recently have been pretty impressive and have created lots of chances, I am not completely confident about Villa winning by 2, so by taking the AH option as long as Villa win we dont lose.

Good Choice.

I have this feeling that A Villa v Wigan is going to be 2-1......Why.....
because we need a win by 2 clear goals....and because Wigan can score here.

I have to go for the Villa-1.....to me this is a much safer bet ..with the possibility of stake returned. Must be worth £1000.

If we choose the other bet and we lose...Bank pretty low for last game of season.

Really think this is the way to go.

Gone for Villa to win by 2 or more goals, not convinced by it but it's decent value. Personally I think there are much better bets around this weekend although this one is certainly not a bad 2.7 shot.

4 of last 5 Sund games have all been Overs. And most of those looked dead cert Unders - Ful away, ManC home, Boro home.

So after huge deliberation my vote goes to Villa this week Very Happy

If it wasn't Week 39 i'd definitely support the 'By 2 goals' bet. But watching how Villa chase a goal if needed i could easily see them getting the winner (so 1 goal margin) in last couple of minutes...... even if i did find the stat that said 7 of 10 Villa home wins have been 2 or more. But the AH-1 i would be happier to chuck the maximum and more at. Whereas £500 about my limit for the 2 goal bet.

Villa AH-1

I think it's time to go for it ...

Villa by 2 for me to recover recent losses. This certainly looks like a very good bet.
