Gone for the Aston Villa to win by 2 or more goals @ 2.7... we've identified they are the bow, yet the -1 is tempting..we'd still need 2 goals to actually pick up any cash..so lets go for the bigger price with the 2goals
and get it done.
enjoy the game lads, who are in attendance..cant wait for the summer meetup

| The price did it for me. The odds on the straight win are too short IMO, the -1 AH needs a two goal winning margin to be a winning bet & so I say we take the extra 0.65 on the price. True, there's no "safety net" of money back should Villa only win by 1 goal but given people's confidence in Villa I'm not sure caution should be our watchword right now. |
Agree with Spider on this given that we have 3 choices from one match I also feel this is the best choice.
Bolton Sunderland is a reasonable chance bet but the price is too short. |

Wigan are unbeaten in 4, and are not going to roll over.
It seems a little late in the day to go chasing big odds with big sums.
A policy of greed over caution leads straight to the poor-house, and this is just the sort of target chasing that was concerning me a week or two ago.
Wigan have lost by 2 or more (home or away) only 4 times since November. Are Villa really that much better than Chelsea at the moment?
If Villa only win by 1, I would much rather have my money back than do my dough
Just suppose that happens, the extra .65 on the win by 2 will look pretty skinny.
I am quite prepared to take Wigan on, but not by 2 without a net
Villa AH-1

well said.
we shouldn't be aiming for a particular target at this stage of the season, as we would essentially be chasing. whole ethos of this initiative is to beat the bookies...ie get the shrewdies on here to out-think the bookies and not place bets as if we were 'mug punters'.
also agree with spider, everyone is expecting a thrashing but wigan won't roll over! as mentioned previously, i think that some of the reasoning behind the villa bets is really flawed and there is a huge element of bias in these villa bets, even if it does come in - and i hope it does come in.
hope nobody takes it the wrong way but that's the impression i'm getting. _________________ Corner vulture

| Ive gone with Villa -1.As confident as i am about a comfortable home win If were going in with bigger stakes now Id rather have the safety net just in case. |

Sorry bottomless but this is a ridiculous question - Villa have different priorities than Chelsea and, as far as league form goes, YES we are better but we all know that drawing a line through one teams performance against the same side does not work in footbal like it can with horses. _________________ AVFC - PROUD HISTORY, BRIGHT FUTURE

If you think Villa -1 and Villa to win by 2 or more goals are similar bets in terms of winners, if Villa win 2-0, 3-1 then both bets would coem in, they only way the -1 is better is if we get a void bet and returned stake.
Id ratehr got for Villa by 2 or more, they have teken apart lower league teams recently, 4-0, 6-0 and 5-1. _________________ Creative web design and brand management service
