It seems to be high confidence in a AV large win. I am voting here for 700 assuming 2.7 odds , if any other we have little choice than the maximum.

good luck Win

For A Villa to win by 2 clear goals.....(risky if Wigan can score.....a def possibility imo)...would go for £350.

If we choose Villa-1...would go for £1000....good chance of a win and the money back safety net.

Surely this is the way to go.

Sorry folks. I chose £900 on the assumption it's Villa AH-1 and then realised that's a silly assumption to make.

Now if it's the 2 goal margin Villa then i'd have chosen £500

Wheras Villa AH-1 i'd have chosen £1,200. Like Brucies Play Your Cards Right where it's double up (or crash & burn) from here on in for the car! Very Happy

Villa are in fantastic form and Wigan are virtually assured of safety whilst Villa will be gunning for a european spot. Aim high. I fancy a comprehensive Villa win. I will look forward to viewing it in the doug ellis box haha!

I personally think £600 on the A/H and £400 on the 2 goal win.

As several people have already lumped on the maximum £900 regardless of the chosen bet - i have opted for £100 trying to bring the stake down to nearer the £500/£600 mark which would still leave us with over a grand for the final bet if the OLBG 3k curse strikes us down again.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the Villa game due to other commitments. i would have loved to have gone. However, i do hope you guys have a champagne day out.

And if any Villa players read this - unlikely but you never know - please, please play some more champagne football as we know you can, and another impressive win will surely be in the bag.

See you at start line

Agree with Herby, 5-600 is a reasonable amount to go on this, which will still leave a lump to invest for the final week.

Anyone who's going to game, have a great day out, best of luck.

Villas recent form against the lower teams has been outstanding, 4-0 and 5-1 home wins with a 6-0 away win to suit, Wigan are down there with teams like that and if Villa get in front eaerly the flood gates may well open again. Villa can hurt you from all angles as the 6-0 against Derby proved, 6 different scorers. Carew is playing out of his skin and he will take some handling by anyone, then the wide pace will cause issues all day then in the middle and my player of the season Gareth Barry, can Wigan really handle all that ????

£900 max for me, Villa are riding too high to stumble against a team like Wigan.

absolutely bizarre to see us going with AH -1 instead of win by 2 goals or more...IMO 'win by 2 or more goals' was much better value

£200 for me, it's a decent bet even if we've reached the conclusion the wrong way - but it's not outstanding. Wigan have been doing OK and still aren't quite safe from relegation, 0-0 or 1-1 would be fine for them.
