Excellent

The right answers were:

1. 1987/88

2. George Burrell Ramsay - who is something of a legend at Villa

Well played KanKeano!!

Villa let us down once more. 1st Sunderland beat them at home and now Wigan.

Hope the OLBG meeting was enjoyable despit the home defeat. Win

Well, lets Crying or Very sad for a moment. Done.

Now we must think that we can win.
How ? Confused

Not difficult at all.
Lets begin keeping 1000 in the bank for the honour of not being beaten to nil.
Then we are left with 100 (and a little more) that we can bet in the best possible away "resurrection" HT/FT home/away @ 33/1 (usual value). So if the bet comes we would end with 10% profit over the total money invested in this excellent experience.

Some little details remains: to complete the success of this plan those tipsters
located in the (equatorially defined) hemisphere where the game will take place Wink...
... must avoid sex and alcohol from monday to 1 hour before the match begins. Laughing

Extra personal (non human) sacrifices offered to the gambling god/saint/talisman each one prefers are encouraged to reinforce our weak luck.
A final effort, the hardest, is required : every voter in the pools must support his/her vote with a post. Laughing

good luck Win

pretty gutted that we're £650 down...i think people have been a bit lax when it comes to staking and this is why our bank has dwindled....IMO people have been treating OLBG money the wrong way.

Don`t really know what to say......if that had been a horse race....there would have been lots of doping tests.

Very disappointed and down hearted when you stop to think that was Wigan`s 2ND ONLY away win all season!!!

And guess who the other was...YES...DERBY!!!

Still cannot believe that result.
