Looking for a bet to give us at least 3000 investing no more than 200 to "put a pike in Flandes" while not resigning the honour of maintaining at least 25% of the investment.

Birmingham and Blackburn (home/away) records are similar. Both would be moved to climb above the 1pt difference to their respective interest zone (no relegation/6th). Then we can have a relative trust that this will end in a draw and (why not) the home team would have the advantage at HT. Note added in proof: Birmingham is best positioned in the half time table than Blackburn.

so best bet for this week in our state and to bet 200
Home/draw HT/FT @ 16

good luck Win

Now it has to be said i think that is a rather beautiful bet tipstonga.

Brum have been leading in 5 of their last 6 home games at half time. 3 of those games they went on to Draw.

Now admittedly Blackburn usually get to half time level away, but having seen them on telly & live at Fratton Park they do start slowly, many times going 4-5-1 to try keep it tight before ending 4-4-2 and having a go. So Brum totally up may well score first. Then the usual Brum leaky defence unable to keep clean sheets scenario kicks in and B'burn get back in it. And this is one of the few games both teams will be totally up for.

HT/FT Brum-Draw is more likely than the 16s quoted above (hope the odds are right!)[/b]

blackburn one of the hardest teams to break down, santa cruz is on fire and i think that's the only bet i could place with any confidence.

stats show that the HT/FT bet suggested by tipstonga may well also be worth a shout at the odds, although i'm not sure about the likelihood of it happening.

tough to call the 1x2, similar to a few games this week. brum need to win or they'll be relegated, but they were abject last week and blackburn won't roll over.

best bet: santa cruz AGS

this bet odds according to valuechecker http://www.valuechecker.co.uk/121728626.htm

is @3.2 (same value than Mikael Forsell; in order to compare lets see that the draw is @4) .

so what is the proposal around this AGS bet ?

Stake =100 , if win bank= 1580 if not bank= 1160 ?
Stake =1250 , if win bank= 4000 if not bank= 0 ?

if the latter (big stake) is the idea the draw @ 4 -that have more chances- and will make us beat the Bookies by +1000 is better imo.

good luck Win

Birmingham on a `do or die` mission and can score first. As has been pointed out....Birm do often lead at half-time.

Blackburn are fighters and can come back in the 2nd half.

BEST BET...BIRM/DRAW..H/T F/T,,at 16/1

Pretty decent odds for a bet that could happen.

Agree with above - great suggestion Tipstonga - well thought out with stake too. Blackburn can start slowly (Derby taking the lead!) and Birmingham are likely to come out fighting, but could well get jittery. Blackburn are not really ideal opponents either, having lost only once away to a bottom half side (5:3 at Wigan).

My gut feel for this game would be a draw as well.

12X - draw 3.6
AH - no bet (odds?)
goals - over 2.5 Evs or better
Other - ht/ft home/draw - best bet
