Dare I say that the one team we have backed against all season could just do us that last week favour.
Reading have now gone an incredible 9 HOURS without a goal and Derby have scored in their last 3 games - Yes they have lost all 3 but can you imagine the party atmosphere that will be at Pride Park on Sunday.
H/T Draw - F/T Derby @ 11/1 - £300 stake. _________________ AVFC - PROUD HISTORY, BRIGHT FUTURE

Hi
3rd choice game - two very poor sides by premiership standards. Reading have a touch more class, but you wouldn't want to lump on now would you.
Both sides have poor defences and weak offences. Derby, the worst side in premiership history have nothing to gain & nothing to lose, a double edged sword indeed - but Reading will be fighting for survival.
Bearing this in mind, i'm going to suggest a long shot that might leave us laughing all the way to the payout counter:
H/T Derby F/T Reading - a 25/1 shot, well worth £200 to win £5k and we still keep our £1k kitty
Thinking about it - Derby could very easily go in front as they did against Blackburn, and if they hold on till the break, Reading will come out second half really fired up for it especially if other results are going against them.
Wow - just imagine if it came in, the champagne would really be flowing!!
Thanks for sharing the season with me & all the best

Nice idea Herbs!
However...I like the possibility of Derby scoring first and Reading...who can`t score for toffee...coming back with 1 goal. They will have to come out and give it a real go.
Derby can score and at 14/1 this looks like an educated gamble!.
BEST BET....AS ABOVE (poss worth £200 and keeping the £1000 pot) |

reading haven't scored in 6 games now and have an awful away record...very tough game to call but I suppose that Reading might just nick it.
Best 1X2 bet: Reading
Best AH bet : Reading -0.5
Best Under/Over bet: Unders
Best Other bet : Reading to win by one goal, HT/FT draw/reading
BEST BET : Reading to win by one goal _________________ Corner vulture

Excuse me if first I encourage people to post bets with odds and stake for a better understanding of their thoughts/proposal .
I agree with John and Herby in a low chance bet with high odds and a 100-300 stake to beat the Bookies or maintain the "honour" of 1000 in the kitty (an arbitrary symbolic number, of course I know). I have posted similar bets in other threads.
I think that Reading that is in free fall will not turn round a HT result on the other hand I see plausible that after doing nothing during HT or more the home team finds the way to one goal. So my choice here is
best bet H/T Draw - F/T Derby @ 11/1 - £300 stake.
good luck _________________ tipstonga

I think Derby could actually get a result here, despite Reading desperately needing a result. I actually work 50 yards from Pride Park (not a Derby fan) and the atmosphere has been pretty much one of waiting for the season to end.
Well now it's about to end Derby might actually put in a performance for their fans, their season did actually start quite well (if anyone can remember) with a home 2:2 v (a very decent) Portsmouth.
I can see this having goals and being 3:2 or maybe something daft like 4:3.
12X - home win at 6.5 (300 stake)
AH - no choice
goals - over 3.5 is 3.2 - I'd go for over 4.5 if a decent price could be found
Other - Deby to win from behind at 25-1 (100 on a punt)
I agree with the idea of keeping a decent pot but aiming for a final big boost with an "outsider". |

i really do not know which team will be relegated. Reading look really really poor at the worst time of the season and i cannot think of 1 player who can turn the tide for them.
Reading cannot afford to sit back as they MUST win to have a chance of survival. This could well make them vulnerable for a goal or two at the back even if they manage to score themselves.
Previous H2H here; 2-2, 2-1, 2-3, 3-0, 3-0. All Over 2.5 goals.
Best bet- Over 2.5/3 goals @ 1.95 _________________ EPL Big 4 AH record
