Everton has hit a poor run of form. Struggling to create chances. However they would like to win to keep 4th place. Newcastle on the other hand have nothing ot play for except for pride.

Best 1X2 bet:Everton
Best AH bet :Everton
Best Under/Over bet:None
Best Other bet :None

Moyes would settle for a point if you was to offer it him right now and this game all depends on wether Newcastle score a goal as Everton could have problems with team selection would not bet on the outcome at all but if i had to choose Newcastle could be the more likely team to score and if they do Moyes boys could be in trouble
0-0 draw

Don't really see the point of trying to break even by fiddling about with something in the 1X2 or AH market. It seems like shutting up shop in a cup final when you're one down.

I feel Everton will go out to win this match in front of their own fans, rather than play for the draw that will see them qualify for Europe. It was interesting to hear Moyes' reaction when interviewed after the game against Villa by suggesting he wasn't surprised that his goalscorers were Neville and Yobo because the forwards had scored so few recently.

The above suggests to me that there is value to be had in the AGS market amongst the Everton players. With AJ struggling to find the net and the Yak scoring less often post February than a Trappist monk, the alternative seems to be Joleon Lescott.

He is joint second top league goalscorer for the Toffees with 7 goals in 37 games and has spread his goals out relatively evenly over the season, unlike say Laursen at Villa. What makes this more appealing to me is that he does find himself in advanced positions regularly playing at left back and doesn't lack composure when in those positions. Also, as the game against Chelsea showed (and also the second half at Villa Park in particular), Newcastle really do struggle at defending set pieces. It isn't difficult to see him ghosting in and nodding one in or sneaking round the back for a tap in.

Tips:-

Others - Lescott AGS @ 11/2*** (this is Bet365 odds - there may be bigger elsewhere).

This game could be 0-0 or 2-2...def one to leave well alone in the final week imo.
You never know which Newcastle will turn up

I think this will be a draw here and 1-1 looks best bet.Everton havnt been scoring many goals recently and Newcastle have been in good form, not conceding many.I think both are more than capable of scoring here though and 1-1 is what i think.

Best 1X2 bet: DRAW
Best AH bet : -
Best Under/Over bet: -
Best Other bet : 1-1 Correct Score

Agree on the draw (@3.50 with Paddy Power). Newcastle playing well and Everton only need a draw to finish 5th.

Looks a good call in a tough week.
