We could do Cup games involving Prem teams again as all the matches left do involve a Prem club, which of course has nothing to do with the fact that...
I HATE INTERNATIONALS. |

hi guys
FA CUP this week.. wk 27 of the season...
Internationals if people really want to (lot of friendlies) are mainly midweek so they can be used I guess but FA CUP looks decent...
or people can skip... no problem if people skip the odd wk but there it would be good to have as many as possible doing every wk

update time >
34 weeks in... or 35 for some!...
only 6 of us still managing to keep going.... appreciate it's hard to remember and to find time - think we've all rushed sometimes.. or forgotten a wk... and especially over a season..but we've almost made it!
the 6 who have missed a max of 3 wks so far...
tipster > profit > bank > wks > avg odds
gecko6 > 55.73% > £5,394.80 > 34 > 2.14
neilthebeaver > 31.43% > £4,699.99 > 35 > 2.98
eezzee > 17.14% > £4,200.00 > 35 > 2.57
hindsight > -7.43% > £3,340.00 > 35 > 4.77
tipstonga > -28.87% > £2,518.50 > 34 > 2.16
fianna > -96.97% > £200.00 > 32 > 5.49

here are the next 8 who have made a valiant effort but have missed quite a few wks (6 or more) but got past halfway!

bigmoose 33.10% £4,225.96 28 2.12
fairfranco 30.48% £4,144.90 26 2.33

7 of 14 have made a profit, 1 is breakeven and 6 showing a loss
considering we have to pick a game each wk, and from the premier league or internationals! - when we wouldnt necessarily do that bet
shows how good this is...
top stuff folks!
overall >
bets > 552
stakes > £129,681.61
return > £127,730.77
profit > -£1761.84
average stake > £115.58
average return > £113.84
average profit > -£1.57
average odds > 2.80
* we have a few more weeks to see if collectively we can show a profit! > we are currently just a few quid down between all 33 people - if we remove the ones who dropped out and take the above 14 then we are £1461 up!

Season is over so the challenge .
Thank you gecko for running the competition and particularly for your support in my fight
I am glad to see you succeed too and by a large % .
Well done all that -beating them or not- dare to face the Bookies
Comparing with the first edition I missed the chat around the games. May be we can get some of it someway. The only thing it occurs to me about that is to use the first edition format but without the real money betting. Probably there is a better way.
Till next season.
good luck _________________ tipstonga
