Wk 1 Balance - £100
-----------------------------------------
Not a lot to go on as it is the first game of the season but I am going to be brave and go for:
Aston Villa v Man City - Aston Villa Win @ 21/20 Gamebookers - £50.00
Villa have made some quality signings and whilst I am always nervous backing them I think they will be too good for Man City, who are to say the least in a bit of a mess.
Odds against for Villa in this one are IMHO very good value
Closing Balance - £50.00 _________________ Good Luck With All Of Your Bets

A trappy little weekend me thinks.
Considering the following games at the moment and will add more detail as we go through the week:
Blackburn v Hull
Now discounted as all bets are too risky IMHO
West Brom v Everton
West Brom are currently 2/1 to win this and that could be a value bet.
They were by no means out classed at Arsenal at the weekend and Everton do look vunerable and loosing their first game at home must have knocked their confidence levels
Updating>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Man City v West Ham
13/10 for the home win looks tempting to me.
I know they had a bad result at Villa but back at home and with Hughes wanting to make some sort of an impact then they should do better against West Ham.
Although the hammers did well at the weekend IMHO they are going to struggle this season and this is the sort of game that they could loose in style. Also over 2.5 goals is currently 6/5 which may be value as both teams managed to find the back of the net at the weekend

Opening Balance - £252
OK, decision made I am going for:
Man City v West Ham - Man City @ 13/10 Bet365 £50.00
13/10 for the home win looks tempting to me.
I know they had a bad result at Villa but back at home and with Hughes wanting to make some sort of an impact then they should do better against West Ham.
Although the hammers did well at the weekend IMHO they are going to struggle this season and this is the sort of game that they could loose in style.
The more I look at it the more I am convinced that City will win this one.

OT - as you're location reads Holte End Lower I am guessing you were there to see Man City on the opening Sunday - and you are still backing them to win?
I thought they looked very lightweight and although they scored twice one was a penalty (harsh to say the least) and the other when the game was won. I don't see where the goals are coming from personaly.
Only my opinion of course and I hope you are right.

Your balance should be higher, as the minimum bet is £100 isnt it?
Regardless, good tipping, keep it up _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here

Thanks guys.
Just looked at Gecko's opening post regarding min bets:
| Quote: |
- no minimum bet although anyone doing 1p will be seen to be protecting their profit I guess!
-maximum of £1k per bet |

Week 3:
There are 3 games that I am looking at all with (IMHO) good value home win chances:
Everton v Portsmouth 11/10
Well what to do here, Everton have had a shakey start at home loosing to Blackburn but then went away to the Baggies to win well.
Pompey have had a start from hell and sit at the foot of the table but are they a wounded animal about to bite back
Updating >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Hull v Wigan 6/4
Hull have had a dream start to lifr in the top flight but as we all know this can be short lived.
Wigan have been unlucky so far in both of their games and did everything on Sunday aprt from score against Chelsea, the more I look at this one the more it does not appeal as a bet.
Updating >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Sunderland v Man City 13/10
This one is drawing me in at the moment, great away day for the Black Cats at Tottenham and I do not think City will be too strong away from home
