When you add up how much you have staked it totals up quite quickly!
Didnt think I had staked that much in the last week with just having the one footy bet but then I remembered the couple of roulette sessions (for Matchsticks research of course).... and the bingo(more research).. oh and the lottery tickets(err research)!

Very much so man o bong - this is the serious section of OLBG - polls, discussion and debate on all things gambling related. |

Even though I'm comparatively smaller stakes than most people, I'm surprised to see just how much I'm betting - recycling the profits, it all seems to add up. Need to really cut out the rubbish bets, cos otherwise I'd really be minting it! |

| Used to have a lot of small stakes bets but now bet more selectively with bigger stakes. Certainly adds up over a week though. |

as i'm trading a lot i'm hitting the top section.
At £20 per time on my horse blog at 2 bets a day it's adding up to £200 alone (not counting trade backs). |

| I've got seriously burned when gambling with high stakes so I keep the stakes low. Only a few pounds every week. |

What with recycling profits et al (as others have mentioned) over the past 7 days I've managed to have my total stakes a shade under £21.
However, on days I bet my bets normally cost me £4.50. I'm a £0.10 Lucky 15 football bettor (total stake £1.50) and usually go with 2 or 3 depending on amount of matches & which competition is being played. On a Saturday I can do as many as 5 Lucky 15's depending on how I see the bets - usually one based on "OLBG v The Bookies" choices, an AGS Lucky 15 & one of purely my own liking (usually a HT/FT but been steering away from HT/FT bets recently).
After a fortunate couple of weeks where I actually won decent money, it's been a slightly downward slope this past week & it's looking as though I'm going to have to make a deposit into my betting acccount. This will be the first deposit for about 3 or 4 week though & is more than covered by money I've withdrawn from the account in that time.
My betting account usually kicks around the £5 mark & I try to keep it about there. If one of the mods could pm me I'd like to lock my current blog & start a new one based on the next top-up of my account as the 21 pages it currently takes up can be a bit heavy going at times but then again I use it as a sounding board and thetitan and myself have been having a good conversation about how we bet there as well.
I hope that if anyone reads my blog, they'll notice how my betting has changed quite a bit & how the way I look at betting has changed & I'm always willing to take constructive criticism of my "strategy" (or not) as different views can be extremely helpful in my opinion.
I'll be the first one to admit that this week I've gone a bit loopy with some of my bets (yesterday I had an accumulator that included 5 Bosnian Premier League matches & an Asian Champs League game in it ) & that has to settle down a bit. However, we're all allowed to be a little random at times & it's bearing in mind that I was just kicking around a little dosh before I'm going to top up. I bet for fun, not really to seriously make money, however that doesn't mean I just place bets for the sake of it or tip outrageous bets that stand no chance _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. Big stakes can count for nothing, and they dont necessarily mean big wins or losses, take trading as an example _________________ Betting systems reviewed- check my site! |

In the last few weeks, not so much, nowhere near my "normal" amount, and it'll probably stay this way until after Christmas. _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here
