Is this match a foregone conclusion?. Should England be such a short price?. All of a sudden are we are a good team. I can see croatia at least scoring in this game. "Eduardo Eliminates England"

It seems to be in the minds of most England supporters as far as I can see.

Actually, I found it very ironic watching Inside Sport last night as the panelists came to the conclusion that the England fans/media didn't give the opposion enough respect...yet every one of them were talking about "when we're playing in Euro 2008 next summer" or "when we qualify on Wednesday night." Rolleyes (Sarcasm) Laughing

Croatia are the best side in the group and although they've already qualified - every one of them will be motivated to beat England.

yes, i'm afraid it is a foregone conclusion.
as i said earlier before the Israel game, a bet on England to qualify @ 2.87 was a good bet. Now i can use some of that and Lay England @ 8 to Not qualify to guarantee myself a profit.

England have drawn the last game in the EuroXX qualifying groups 3 times from the last 3. Thats all they need on Wednesday night and I'd much rather back that outcome @3.45 than the home win @1.60.

I think bar 20mins of the Russia game we have been playing very well over the past few months, i think the opposite has happened, a bad spell in Russia and all of a sudden we are a bad team, expect us to beat Croatia and top the group, recent home form is excellent.

I think anything over 8/1 Croatia is a great price... 9/1 and above amazing...

Croatia aren't a bad team, they may need a win yet to make sure they're in Pot 2 of the Seedings and won't be coming to roll over as many people think they might.

I think they'll shock a few people and come out all guns blazing... the 7/1 in places for them to be in the lead at half time is a very good bet...

Croatia will definately want this, and to top the group as well they can't lose my 2+ goals to England. Might take a under2.5 goals

I think a nervy, unconvincing England win is the order of the day. Possibly even a 0-0, but I don think we'll qualify. I would really worry for McClaren's safety if England didnt qualify now. Well, I wouldn't really 'worry' tbh... Cheeky

SportingBet have Croatia at 8/1 with the draw around 9/4. I think England will be nervous and it will depend on how the game starts in the first 20 mins.

Before the haters get on me Id like to say for the Record that I am an Engalnd fan. I concider them to be my "adopted" national team.

Before the ISR vs RUS game eveyone was writing us off. Some rags even have headlines saying "No EURO 2008 for England" or some other rubbish. Now all of a sudden we're favorites to top the group! I don't know if this is arrogance or optimism but England should not be complacent because the Croats are no pushovers. Personally I won't bet on this game but if I have to bet at gunpoint... ENGLAND AH -0/0.5 would be the bet for me. I think this might end in a 1-0, 1-1, 2-0, 2-1, or even 3-0

I hope we get the 2-0 result we need. God save the National Team. Cheeky
