Sorry about that - didn't realise there were such stringent rules governing what you can say here.
Are the 3 excessive gloating points I've now got against me carried forward to the next tournament England play, or is the slate wiped clean in time for the World Cup qualifications?! |

We're very strict arond here. Nice one on the win. No place for sentiment in the betting arena. |

If only England can have the Finland goalkeeper. Finland has one of the best defences in the world. It was a thriller 0-0 with Portugal playing host - even Christiano Ronaldo could not beat the Finnish defence. This is a must watch match for McClaren. Plenty of lessons that can be picked up here.
C'mon England will rise again. Cheers! |

Next summer and no england in the euros
Aint got a clue on the next manager but lets just hope the muppets at the FA take a little time and get a proper coach instead of a yes man. I admired Venables in euro 96 but glad he's gone too. How could he sit in the stands at 2-0 down and not bother to show his face on the bench, the mind boggles how these clowns get paid so well. Mclaren dropped Becks when he took over just to show he was the man, how it backfired on him Beckham was a leader not like that overpaid mug who led us last night, Gerrard was awful. We can talk for ever and a day about things that have gone wrong etc, but maybe this could be a good thing for us. Next summer when we aint there maybe, just maybe the players and all staff in the england set up, might miss the occasion and start to want to play for there country again.
We need a coach who will pick form players, young or old, if you play well you get in, not just keep picking the same has beens each game. There are great youngsters out there but we never give them a chance.
Most of all, we need a leader who can motivate and rant and scream when needs be, Fergie fits the bill there.
We need a leader who can use brilliant tactical knowledge and also play amazing football, Wenger gets the shout there.
Then what about a leader who looks after his players and also knows how to win matches, also as that big headed but likeable factor about him, Jose fits the bill with that one.
Lastly and very important, we need a leader who has passion and pride for the three lions, someone who would give blood for the cause, and maybe all the players could take this on board and start singing the national anthem for once, Pearce is the man here.
So here we go onto the World cup in 2010, We need a mould of Fergie,Wenger,Mourhino and Pearce.
Best manager who never got the england job had all these attributes rolled into one, but the FA clowns shunned him too, RIP Brian Clough. _________________ Dont look up, Look down, theres always someone worse off than yourself..

Managerial partnership, Stuart Pearce and Roy Keane.
Both got that nasty streak in em, wonder where they got that from? _________________ Dont look up, Look down, theres always someone worse off than yourself..
