Aargh! I spent ages reading (and confusing myself repeatedly ) and thought I'd finally figured it out.....and I was still wrong!
I think I'll just swerve all of the Euro qualifiers tonight, its much safer! _________________ Red Bull gives you wings.
Stoke and Hull better stock up on Red Bull then, as its the only way they'll get off the floor next season..... |

I echo fastal72's post, if Holland lose then I'm laying Germany big time.
If Holland win or draw then I'll take Germany to destroy Wales _________________ Corner vulture

From SportingBet If England fail to qualify for Euro 2008 WE WILL REFUND ALL BETS on this match.
Surely this is a risk free bet, just stick loads and loads on England win or draw at admittedly poor odds of 1.03 but if it loses you will get your money back! You can't lose. |

England Vs Croatia HOME WIN
I cant see England throwing this away now.Especially at home.Wembley is a tough place to come to and Croatia will be coming here wanting to win but having already qualified im not sure they will be 100% committed to them 50/50 tackles, where as England will be.Croatia have only lost once so far but that was lto away at Macadonia so they probably sat back and relaxed to much.Croatia are a good side but this is the toughest game they have had all group and will need to creat something special to score tonight.Even though England are without Ferdinand and Terry i feel we are still very strong and will be very difficult to break down.England will have a packed wembley crowd behind them and it will be a very tough atmosphere for Croatia to play through.Looking at the likely line up i think McClaren will play a 4-5-1 formation with Crouch upfront on his own.I think he is good enough to do it and with a very creative midfield getting forward to help him out so we will probably be playing a 4-3-3 at times.I would rather have seen Beckham starting tonight as i feel at the moment Philips is to inconsistant and Beckham played 60 mins on friday and although being a bit rusty (expected) he still set up the only goal of the game.He should be playing tonight. But McClaren has decided to choose Philips and hopfuly he will be on form tonight and will use his pace down the right.I also would have given Robinson his place back as Carson (who will be englands future number 1) didnt have alot to do on friday and Robinson, despite recent performces is still Englands best national keeper so in such an important game he would be my choice.I think England will win tonight and will put on a good solid performance.I dont feel nervous whatsoever.
Result:HOME WIN
Score:2-0
I had a £1 free scorecast bet so i thought i would go for a bit of a long shot and go for Campbell 2-0.
Spain Vs Northern Ireland HOME WIN
Northern Irelnd have a had very good campaign but they are all but out now. They played well against Denmark and got a big win in very testing conditions but their away form reads 1-2-2 with five goals scored and five conceded.Spain have already qualified so will be a little more relaxed but will still wnat the win to top the group and i think being at home and knowing they have already qualified they will go out and enjoy themselves a little more tonight. They have yet to lose a game at home and have only conceded once so Northern Ireland will find it difficult to score.Spain have won 7/8 and will be hoping to keep their momentum going.Northern Irlend wont be pushovers and will want to put on a good performance knowing the amount of fans that have gone to see them but i feel Spain will be too strong for them and win it.
Result:HOME WIN
Score:2-0
Sweden Vs Latvia HOME WIN
Sweden only need a draw tonight but will be wanting to make up for the heavy defeat they took at the hands of Spain on saturday. They have a decent record in this campaign reading 7-2-2 and have only conceded eight.Latvias record so far reads 4-0-7 and are poor away from home. They have nothing to play for so all i can see here is a Sweden win.
Result:HOME WIN
Score:3-0
Germany Vs Wales HOME WIN
Germanys condfidence is high having already qualified and after beating Cyprus 4-0 lto they will be confident of another comfortable win tonight. They will be wanting to end on a high infront of their own fans.Wales will have a team full of youngsters tonight so im on a comfortable Germany win.
Result:HOM WIN
Score:5-0

| Big word of warning against Germany at the moment for the reasons stated above. Holland are losing at the moment and Germany's win price has started to drift. Slowly i know, but its moving!! |

Belarus is probably gonna be my NAP for the night against Holland. Belarus cant qualify and Holland are already through. Holland have scored the least number of goals of the nations who have already qualified - just 14 goals in 11 matches, including a mere 1-0 against Luxembourg, who they should have really destroyed. Belarus have scored 15 overall.
More importantly, Holland need to lose this game to avoid the position of top seeds for next year, which would put them in a 'group of death'. I doubt that they'll go out to lose this match, but I wouldnt be surprised if they took their foot off the gas.
So, I think that Belarus double chance is a good shout @ evens and DNB is also great @ 3/1 in places. Price is dropping but this is still totally speculative and based on my conspiracy theories
Maxim Romashchenko is Belarus' top scorer with 4 goals and he is a huge 6/1 although I'm sure you can find better. Taking him at 18/1 (again, better odds will be available) as FGS could turn out to be a fantastic value bet. Don't really take scorecasts as a matter of rule but can definitely see some value in taking him and the Belarus 1-0 and 2-0 wins @ 100/1+ and 200/1+.
Team news - Belarus have no worries, Holland without van der Sar, van Persie, Robben, van Nistelrooy. How convenient that their experienced goalie and star striker miss this game...
Good luck
Absolutely Spot on there mate |

Holland 2-0 down, 15 minutes left... there's only one call here...
10pts Lay Germany v Wales @ 1.33 (To lose 3.3pts)
0.5pts Back Wales @ 12.5

Wales' price dropping like a stone
Just going for the Wales win and AH, I think this is an 'enhanced likelihood' bet and I see that the Germans have been holding out for the Holland result until they name their team, making things even more suspicious.
Balls to the chopping block time, I think I'm backing Wales at big odds!
Who does everyone reckon will score for Wales?
Cheers proudpoolie, hope you got on! [/i] _________________ Corner vulture

England v Croatia
McLaren is a lucky manager. How else do you explain becoming England manager with what he has achieved in football? How do you explain how Boro got a UEFA Cup final under his tutelage? He is lucky and lady luck was shining on him again on Staurday. Thats why I expect England to scrape a draw tonight. Croatia will be 1 up with 15 minutes to go and Englandf will score late on to earn a draw and get the point they need to qualify. So who's going to pull him out of the mire? Wouldn't it be ironic if the player who McLaren famously dropped at the beginning of his reign saves his bacon now. Whatever you say about Beckham he has the class to make a difference late on and who can forget the freekick that took us to Japan & Korea in 2002. So my tips are: [All Betfair prices]
Draw @ 3.65
Croatia AH [+0.75] @ 2.30
Correct Score 1-1 @ 8.60
Beckham AGS @ 10.00

20:00 England v Croatia
Draw (Half Time) @ 5/4
£500 Croatia+1 (Asian Handicap) @ 23/25
Croatia are a talented team and although they have already qualifed for the tournament, every nation/player wants to do well against the big teams and Croatia will be no different at Wembley on Wednesday evening. Im sure they will field a strong team here and will want to finish qualification on a high after their recent disappointment against FYRM. England only need a draw here and they will not be pushing very hard in this match in my opinion. They will be missing Rooney and Owen up front so may struggle for goals while the heart of the defence John Terry is also missing. The most likely result here is a draw but even if England nick a one goal victory then the stake is returned for this bet - superb value at this price. |
