interesting that groups A & B play each other all the way to the final (winners/runners-up etc)

and likewise with Groups C & D

thus, austria and switzerland avoid any of those teams in the last 2 groups... not really a surprise eh ?!

makes czech republic, croatia, germany and portugal all better value... and dents the chances of romania greece spain etc I would think...

manchestermike > agree on greece in their group, but they would have to play first and second from group C in their next 2 matches if they qualify from that group...

could be awkward...

Is it just me or do these seedings seem totally wrong. I understand the 2 home nations and champions being seeded in pot 1, but how can the dutch be seen as the best team in Europe and join them in that pot. also France in pot 4 Confused

Anyone got a quick rundown as to how this was decided.

As a big post qualifying group backer of Germany I'm absolutely delighted with this draw. It really couldn't have gone much better for them with a route through the group and to the final without the prospect of meeting Italy France Spain or Holland. They must be laughing themselves sick!!

The only crumb of comfort for my Dutch girlfriend is that Holland set up base camp in Lausanne, a lovely city on the shores of Lake Geneva. Great party venue - the fans will love it. Win

All 3 Dutch games to be played in Young Boy's of Berne Wan kdorf Stadium - which always brings a smile to my face. I actually went their once to watch a Swiss FA Cup Final Laughing

Those UEFA boys have certainly handed Germany, Austria and Switzerland a boost by keeping them clear of Group C/D until the final Mad

Portugal are a massive price with Coral at 9s

The only tough teams they will face would be croatia in the quarters then germany in the semis

so at half the odds to make the final

9/2 looks very tempting
