What about Pavel Pogrebnyak as an outside shot?!
Cant find any odds on him anywhere, Top scorer in the UEFA cup this season with 11 goals |

you have to look at a team that will get far in the tournament. The golden boot winner will come from a successful team. I think France are a spent force and Henry hasn't had a great season. I think Spain can achieve this time but Germany are the favourites and look good. But i am going for Raul for 2 main reasons:
He has had a tremendous season and will go into the tournament in top form.
He will get plenty of service. Just look at their attacking options: Fabregas, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Torres,Villa. The list is end less. Not quite sure on his odds, but Each Way is a definite punt for Raul |

Just one negative point about your tip there Wasim. Raul hasn't played for Spain since the September 2006 and has fallen out with the coach who recently stated that the continued absence of the striker "no longer concerns him". _________________ "The biggest regret of my whole football career was leaving White Hart Lane in 1970.....I was heartbroken" - Jimmy Greaves. I cant decide between Villa and Torres. Spain probably have the easiest group and could get quite a few goals in their first 3 games. Villa is almost certainly the 1st choice striker and is worth backing @ 12/1. If Torres starts in a 4-4-2 then he must be worth backing also @ 12/1. I'll be holding off until seeing their starting line-up againgst Russia.
edit: Torres is now 15/1 and Villa 20/1

| raul has to play. The fans love him and he has been in better form than Villa this season. If the manager doesnt pick Raul and Spain flop, then i'm afraid it's adios Aragones |

Aragones has already stated that he is leaving the post at the end of the tournament so I don't think he cares what Raul thinks. _________________ "The biggest regret of my whole football career was leaving White Hart Lane in 1970.....I was heartbroken" - Jimmy Greaves. watching Villareal playing now and Nihat has just scored a good free kick and he is someone maybe worth having a punt on at what is most likely long odds.
He has been in great form this season for Villareal who are one of Spain's better clubs now and he was a huge part of Turkey qualifying for Euro 2008, I think he score a few in the qualification and he will love the support from the likes of Tuncay and Altintop. _________________ Read my Boxing blogs, previews of fights happening all over the World. Hi Guys,
just put my two-penneth in here if I may.
As I predicted in the Adopt a Team foe Euro 2008 thread, I think it will be an Italy v Croatia final. For this reason I think that one of these teams will provide the winner of the golden boot, Luca Toni is a good choice for Italy but because I think that Croatia will win I have to go for Niko Krancjar but I can't find any odds for this at this time.
