V. Flloyd Mayweather.
Is it worth 2/1 on Hatton on Betfair now? Back him and then when the English money comes for him a day before the fight the price will fall and you can Lay him off. Thus making a nice profit if he wins, and if he doesnt its no harm done to you?
I think I will be doing this? Anyone agree with my cunning plan? |

I would say 2/1 is about the right price, and personally cant se it falling below that level even closer to the day, what i would do is over the course of the build up be looking for an ARB of sorts, as there is such a long time from now till the fight and so many irms with differing opinions about such a close fight, one is sure to appear between now and the day. _________________ NEW! Personally I would take the 2/1 and let it ride, as I think Hatton will win. Obviously a long time until the fight, so my opinions may change, but at the moment I think Hatton will take it. _________________ The only dedicated snooker betting blog on OLBG! -> Click here

Hatton definatly has the mentality and the drive to win, just has to train and work hard that's all. Floyd Mayweathers most recent fight against Oscar de la Hoya was close and I think they may have even got it wrong _________________ PLAY UP POMPEY |

| i cant see the money being pumped into hatton this time, i think the stats and form all lead to a mayweather victory, id wait and see if his price drifts at all, and if you do go for hatton i think a BetterBet would be to take him on the points decision if the odds are worth the improved victory, i cant see either boxer getting put down in this one. |

Indeed, can't wait for this fight either and I myself will be going big on Ricky.
The promotional tour has just begun and having just watched sky sports news with the two going fac to face, Mayweather whispering little things like "your a lttle girl", "your too small", "I eat people like you for Breakfast" etc etc, you could see in Rickys eyes he had a mixed look of..
A. Trying not to laugh at him!
B. I dont think you realise I'm going to seriously hurt you!
Looking at the way both men acted I'd say Mayweather is really, really underestimating Ricky here.
I also heard Mayweather is taking part in some sort of reality show (ballroom dancing?) before thi fight, which only seems to add to underestimating thing, its only 12 weeks away for god sake.
Mayweather has reason to be confident but dont take the pish mate, you are fighting The Hitman this time!

| if mayweather sits on the ropes like he normally does hatton will throw in the body punches and destroy mayweather personally i think floyed will do his hit and run antics the question is can hatton cut the ring off and give him no where to run to. |

| not sure on the exact odds, but it'll either by ricky by stoppage (which the more i think about it, the less likely it becomes) or floyd on points with his typical hit and run technique, and american judges. |

I can't call this. Mayweather is one hell of a boxer but he's best at 140lbs, the same as Hatton, so I think he wanted the fight to take place at welterweight out of fear that Ricky will put him down - I mean when Ricky fought Luis Collazo at 147lbs he looked slow and lethargic, whereas Mayweather has done it at most divisions and looked good, even at light middleweight against the great Oscar De La Hoya. Furthermore, if Ricky doesn't hurt Floyd within the first eight rounds I can see him getting worried and frustrated, and then I would expect Floyd to take it on points.
Best bets for the fight:
1) Hatton TKO or KO at 10/3
2) Mayweather on points at 11/8
Floyd won't knock Hatton out in a month of Sunday's and Hatton won't go the distance and take it on points, as Floyd is a dancer and as proved in the De La Hoya bout - those judges don't really go for aggression. Saying that though, if Hatton catches Floyd with a Luis Castillo-like body-shot then Floyd is going down, no doubt about that. And if Ricky doesn't hurt Floyd then Floyd will know that all he has to do is pick off Hatton with the jab and let the fight fizzle out whilst Hatton goes in all guns blazing, with probably little effect/no effect as Floyd is too fast in my opinion.
Trust me, I guarantee that there won't be a different outcome than the two I chose. I shall be betting big on both of them so that I'm promised a profit. |
