Theres Only One Ricky Hatton!!
Oh well it was not to be, Mayweather looked a different class to him tonight, you can maon about the ref and the style Mayweather approached the fight with but Ricky was not going to beat him tonight/today whatever it is now! Ricky gave it a good go but simply not good enough, we still love you Ricky and he will be back down to his normal weight now and back to wins but i cannot see who is worth fighting at that weight.
Loved the interview after the fight......What A Fluke!!! lol he took the defeat well and knew the better boxer one so all credit to him and to all those fans who travelled over there, they were superb.
I need bed now |

Ricky got wound up with the ref (he had every right to be) and was a bit over emotional but lets face it, you could have had the perfect referee and the result would have been the same.
You had a boxer against a brawler in there, it took PBF 3 rounds to totally figure Ricky out, he was a little bit shook by the initial onslaght but like any great fighter he adapted and dealt wth it, amazingly brilliant unorthodox defence, so fast and accurate with his punching, he doesn't waste any, no shame at all for Ricky, PBF is just in a class of his own, fair play to him.

I couldn,t believe the price I got for "Pretty Boy" I suppose it was all the hysteria surrounding Hatton but he really was a class below this,my heart seriously wanted him to win but there are very few really good betting opportunities such as this come along and I had to take it.
good luck from now on Ricky. barney21 |

| Mayweather was just quality, Hatton was unlucky he did feel as though the rref was against him but he gave as good as he could but the pretty boy kept the 0 and deserved so. |

| StanJames had PBF 4/7 and Ricky 6/4 just as the fighters made their entrance. |

What a day nighter that was, my heads still hurting. 22 of us crammed into my living room even the wife got up and watched the fight cos she could not sleep through the noise
Unlucky to the Hitman But respect to Mayweather, he really is a different class. Didnt see him miss many shots just picked Ricky off early doors then went to work, awesome
I think Hatton will carry on boxing because he'd hate to retire on a loss, he needs to go back to his best weight though, but who can he fight? Not many big names in his division anymore. _________________ Dont look up, Look down, theres always someone worse off than yourself..

Mayweather was a class above, no more to say really. Got to admire Hattons determination though, after he went down - he got back up and tried to keep fighting, after that punch that Pretty Boylanded he must of felt link Pete Doherty on a bad night out _________________ PLAY UP POMPEY |

Don't think there is any chance of a rematch unless the money is massive, which is impossible even the fight was at Wembley for instance, the money would be big here but no chance the American audience would buy into the hype that it would be any kind of contest after last night and America is where the money is made.
The only fight I can see for Hatton now is Junior Witter to be honest, Witter has a similar style to PBF, defensive and speedy, we saw how Hatton coped with that style last night and Witter will fancy his chance's, although I think Ricky would win. |
