Some people hate the bdo version but it still throughs up some good bets and trading chances.
de ruiter v moody
the only game on saturday i'm interested in. De ruiter was shocking really in the GSOD and has lost alot of matches recently. Moody has been averaging higher in county level and at 2.08 is worth a point bet imo, although i could Lay de ruiter and trade back in play. any ideas? |

I watched the Anderson match this afternoon, and I must admit he was shockingly bad in the first couple of games at hitting the doubles. I think i am right in saying that in the first leg, he had 5 throws at a double and missed them all, I sat there thinking, blimey, last week I hit 2 from 5 doubles maybe I should hit the scene ...
Not really impressive play from both parts, Roosenbrand was nothing out of the ordinary today and I think he should find it too difficult against Whitlock if he plays the same way as today...
Moody +2.5 sets looks like a decent bet as well in my eyes. He struggled to get settled in the first round match, but that was probably due to the fact that after 2 decades of trying to qualify he eventually reached his goal, after a nervy couple of sets he settled in nicely and should he not be too overwhelmed against new favourite Mark Webster, I think that he could at least take a couple of sets, definately not one to suspect of recieving a total whitewash after the amount of support that was shown to him in the first round tie _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

| Roosenbrand just looked really nervous, he played some really good darts. Might put a bit on him to beat Whitlock. |

If anyone has any inclination to bet on ridiculously small odds "No 9 darter" was 1.09 on Betfair a few hours back. This has never ever happened at the PDC World Champs, and watching the BDO darts most of them are struggling to hit a 19 darter. Their won't be a 9-darter at BDO surely?! I can't be on odds that low myself tho. _________________ Steve |

I'd agree - from what I've seen so far it's pretty bad, but odds of 1.09 against a 9 darter....given the amount you would have to place for a decent return it would just make me nervous for the next week!
I have a few quid on Roosenbrand (220-1!)...I had a few quid on 4 or 5 others but they're all out already so he's all I have left...I tend to put a few on the long shots and cross my fingers. This worked for me in the PDC as the favourites were all out quite early |

Anderson lost in his first game of that grandslam thing too...maybe he needs to have a full practice game before he goes into a tournement.
Glad I didn't bet on him though, he was the only one that really stood out to me. |

From what I have seen, it does look like Whitlock is seriously in the zone at the moment, and still yet to lose a single set, very impressive, and good hair , rightly the favourite to win the tournament now as well. The other player I think could be in with a definate shout is Darryl Fitton. Played two absolute blinders so far in this tournament and is definately looking like a champion in the making, could win this event if he can keep the form up....
One player worth avoiding must be Mark Webster, ranked number 1 in the BDO, but doesn't seem to like these cameras much. Physically started shaking against Moody the other night, and looks like he could struggle to win against Fitton tonight if the pressure gets to him once again, if Fitton can get the crowd behind him, then I think there might be a struggle this evening for him.
Who's the lovely looking Blonde girl they keep showing as well? Got a glimpse of her a few times in the Adams - Thornton match _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

Great quater finals as far as my money went.
Could be anyones from here, wouldnt be surprised to see any of them win it.
the girl you talk about is a scottish girl around 17/18. She is a very handy player herself. _________________ OLBG'S RESIDENT DART PLAYER
