Online Trader, you copying me by making a blog? Seriously though, good luck with it. I had a pretty good Aussie GP, only Kovaleinen not making the podium let me down, but it seems F1 isnt too popular with the blog readers, maybe you'll have more luck |

There isnt much doubt that the best bet for the Malaysian GP is Vettel to score points at 100/30
Toro Rosso have been impressing all winter during testing and although Vettel crashed out on lap one Seb Bourdais proved they have the race pace. The debutant and multiple champ car World Champion started 17th on the grid but due to a clever stragegy and a decent race package the car was 4th before the engine blew 3 laps before the end of the race.
Vettel is a superstar in the making and managed to qualify 6th fastest in Q2 but a technical problem prevented him from taking place in Q3. With a fresh engine and a clear run he should at least get into the points and may even flirt with a podium finish. Considering how well he performed in qualifying the 200/1 available for Vettel to pole is too big to resist. Remember we are back to qualifying with race fuel so there is the chance Toro Rosso will lightly fuel in an attempt to gain some glory.
Also worth a dabble is Rosberg to podium at 7/1
Slight disappointment that he was able to podium at Melbourne as this was always going to be the race in which Williams and in particular Rosberg were stronger.
2006 Rosberg poled 14th in Australia but 3rd in Malaysia
2007 Rosberg poled 12th in Australia but 6th in Malaysia
Williams have been the most improved team during winter testing and they appeared at Melbourne to prove this on the track after a slow start. With Ferrari experiencing reliability problems in the heat things arent going to get any easier in Malaysia. There are cracks in Kovalainen at the moment and the Williams was only slightly slower than the BMW so at double the price they are backed to turn around the 3sec deficit from Melbourne.
5pt Vettel to score points @ 100/30
0.5pt e/w Vettel to pole @ 200/1
1pt Vettel to podium @ 28/1
2pt Rosberg to finish on the podium @ 7/1 _________________ Royal Ascot Comp 2007 #3, Aintree Comp 2008 #1

Betking - Have to agree there does not appear to be a lot of interest here for F1
Will see how the Blog goes.

Great write up
Agree with you that Seb Bordais was unlucky, however this does raise questions marks about the reliabilty of the car
As for Kovalainen showing cracks, he was very unlucky and if had not been for the safety car coming out he would have finished 2nd, I thought he did very well overall
Agree with you that BMW are looking good and definately think Ferrari will not perform any better in Malaysia as they have not had long enought to sort the problems out, also following Malaysia is another hot climate race in Bahrain which could present them with further problems. _________________ Good Luck With All Of Your Bets

it has been raining every evening in Msia the last few days.
it is anyone's guess whether it will be rain or shine, or half the track rain half the track shine (happened here a few years ago wreaking havoc on the team strategies)...
Pole position will be not be crucial as there are many high speed straights and ample overtaking opportunities. It will boil down on whether the team gambles on a 2 stop strategy or taking the safer 3 stop, and tyres selection if the sky goes dark. _________________ EPL Big 4 AH record

This will be interesting now, the Ferrari's are looking good.
LH with it all to do from 4th but anything can happen and the bookies are not sure, LH has gone out to 4/1 but they have Kimi as fav at 19/10 so no real confidence there so I am still confident
DC will have to be at the top of his game to get anywhere near the podium so this could be a bad bet
Seb Bordais also has a lot to do to get in the points but is possible if all goes well _________________ Good Luck With All Of Your Bets

McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen have been penalised five grid places for impeding rivals during qualifying at the Malaysian Grand Prix.
So now he starts 9th |

I thought my bets were in trouble before the grid punishment, now I think they're in a LOT of trouble! |
