Audley DOES still have a future in the sport. He may not get to the very top, but he certainly has a future. To actually be successful though, he needs to work off the ring rust, get fully fit, get fully focused, and stop thinking hes a legit World Class heavyweight.
I heard mumblings of Harrison vs Haye, and if that goes ahead Haye will KO Audley within a round.
Also read about Audley/Williams again, not sure I'd watch that again. |

| for someone with such obvious talent, harrison is possibly the most boring pedestrian heavyweight player ive seen,he's 38 now so times running out for him,he's not going to beat klitschko and i doubt hes a match for chagaev either whos got a tough re-match coming up against valuev.so where is there to go for a man who wants to fight once or twice a year and expect title shots because of his olympic gold medal history? one more fight max and frank warren or whoever needs to find him some WBU fella to take on,its been a long time since that olympic win... |

He's just one of those boxers that are unable to make the transition from amateur to professional. Yes most great amateurs go on to be great champions...Ali, Lewis and even Riddick Bowe I guess in a way. I liken this to cricket. Does a great 1 day player automatically become a great test player? Audley is just missing a couple of key qualities and yes Gary Mason would have beaten him in a professional ring

Yeah i agree lampah. And to be fair to gary mason, in my opinion he was beating lennox lewis when he had to retire with an eye injury- albeit fairly early on in lewises career.
I do think though that calzaghe will have it alot tougher against Roy Jones. |
