Typically we try to use the same rules as normal bookies for bet settlement, specifically we refer to Bet365 rules.

So basic common sense stuff normally like settle on end of normal time result (if there is a draw option) and on OT result if there isnt

A couple of calrifications to the rules we are using to process tips

1. Tennis Retirements
Bet365 void match & set bets if there is a retirment no matter what the score so we are doing the same

2. First Goalscorer bets on non-starters
If you bet on a player to score first but they never get on the pitch then we mark these are losers as its too complex to introduce an effective non-runner system for this. I know a lot of bookies will void such bets but to be honest this is the best we can do. The alternative is to get rid of the FGS betting altogether (its a huge resource drain).

If it turns out that the first goal scorer wasnt on the list of options everyone had to tip on then all FGS tips will be voided (this happened with Huth for Chelsea)

3. AntePost Racing
While some bookies offer non-runner no bet offers shortly before a race its too hard for us to destinguish between these so our policy is that AntePost bets are never non-runners - they either win or they lose - thats the price you pay for the better odds.

4. Abandoned Matches
Where a match is not played to a conclusion all tips will be voided even if an official result has been declared.

5. Non Participating Players
If you back a player in a tournament/race (e.g. Golf, tennis, F1 race, etc) and they dont take part then the bet is a loser in the same way as an AntePost racing bet would be. While bookies may treat this differently its too onerous for us to keep track of who does and doesnt take part.
