Here's my first question lol...
I'm using Betfair.
When it say 'your liability for the bets' does that mean the maximum amount your going to have pay out if the bet loses?
For example...
2:00 Salisbury
Lord Zenith
Backers Odds = 1.9
Backers Stake = £10
Liability = £9
Payout = £19
Could someone explain the amount I could win and the amount I could lose?
I think I understand, I just want to be 100% sure before I bet, because I don't wanna screw up and end up having to pay out 100's lol.
Any help is really appreciated,
Thanks. |

Your liability is how much you stand to lose, the backer's stake is how much profit you stand to win.
The other guy has put up £10 and you've put £9 up and whoever wins gets the lot (minus Betfair commission on the profit).
Good luck with it. |

AH, thanks for clearing that up.
So basically in the case of Lay betting, your part of the stake is the 'liability'?
Thanks for your help. |

| That's right, your stake is the liability on a Lay bet. |

Do you mean on OLBG or Betfair?
I guess you mean on OLBG cos I've never noticed that on Betfair, so on here '%Tips' means the percentage of people who are tipping that selection (as a % of the people who have tipped on the event) and the '%Cash' is the % of cash staked on that selection (as a % of the amount of cash staked on the event). |

Hi
Rather than sending this query on the contact form I thought I would post it here as its probably easy to answer.Its about the LSP boxes on your Tipster Pages.I presume when you do a bet each-way that means for LSP purposes that its a point for the win and a point for the place so 2 points per bet ( maybe its a point split ) Anyway, I was -11.31 for my June LSP for other sports and I had 12 eachway-bets and 1 straight win bet so I take it that is a extra 25 points to add to my Minus -11.31 making it -36.31. hope I've got this right
Now, I had a 14/1 winner eachway at 1/4 odds, a 80/1 place 1/4 odds and a 25/1 shot placed at a 1/4 odds which I THINK works out at 43.75 points profit which should put me +7.44 for the month of June in the other sport boxes instead of -0.45.
I am not use to using LSP So I am presuming I made a mistake somewhere along the line but if anyone can answer this for me I would be grateful as It could determine if I get into the Pro Tipsters next month.
Cheers Swash |

E/W bets only count as 1 lsp point swash. If they are losers that is. You're 14/1 winner at the weekend gave you 8.74 lsp points _________________ All the best. |

Cheers K.C
So a eachway bet is 0.5 on the win and 0.5 on the place part .I have never really used LSP before but I should get with it a bit more
Cheers  |
