CLASSIC REMARK
Very well bred filly who showed signs of inexperience on her debut in what could be a very nice maiden at Newbury. The further she went, the closer she got and she should be a lot sharper next time out.
JOHAR JAMAL
Wasn't well drawn and never really got involved on her last start in a valuable handicap at Newmarket. However, was finishing well at the end and now with that run behind her, should resume her winning ways.
STONE OF SCONE
Out of a Group 2 winner and a half brother to Mount Nelson who didn't go unbacked for his debut in the Wood Ditton. Raced green throughout and hung left but wasn't given a hard time and should build on that performance. _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

MOONSTONE
Well bred daughter of Dalakhani was all at sea today on her debut in what could be a pretty useful maiden at Leopardstown. She ran green under pressure, but was picking up nicely inside the final furlong under a kind ride. Not to be missed next time out.
MOYENNE CORNICHE
Looked a million dollars in the paddock his race at Newbury and looked even more impressive in full flow on the track. He was quite green, but when asked to go, he flew home to score well. He could be quite special. _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

No Midas, for me this is a vital thread with so many people picking up so many things. There have been a few eyecatchers, but nothing worth noting this week but, I have actually got one that I had forgot.
FLASHMANS PAPERS
Half brother to Temple Of Thebes and seemed quite forward on his debut at Windsor and was travelling well halfway. When asked for his effort, he was cut across and it cost him momentum and 2nd place. Should be winning next time out. _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Seattle Storm
Looked to be getting the better of the race and staying on, but was reigned back close home by Jamie Spencer, not that I am cynical but sureley savouring handicap mark and may be one to give a chance to next time out.
Moverra
Well handicapped for Michael Wigham, and did really well on reapearance, should have more to come next time out over 7 furlongs / 1 mile. Ex Irish trained runner, who had fair bits of form in Ireland.
Ordination
Wanted to see how this one got on, after poor start to the term for yard, went well enough to suggest further improvement and more to come, should be able to take a similar race.
Szaba
Is on a mark of 50 after three maidens, and made an encouraging start to the term, should have a little more to come, and would have thought a slightly weaker event is within reach, and looks quite capable of stringing a few wins together.
Wyeth
Very disapointed by the amount of rope given to the winner, Jamie Spencer left it far to late, and George Washingtons sibling can make into a good handicapper this term.
Fleuret
Encouraging reapearance to take 4th behind the well regarded Salsa Steps, should be winning soon enough.
Kind Regards

FACTOTUM
He is a big, green son of Sadlers Wells and is a half brother to Falbrav who looks to be improving with time. Ran well today and given a little more time, he could be a nice handicapper over 12f.
...and yet another Cumani one to follow.
CELT
He is a half brother to Pukka and Pongee who needed this run this evening to qualify for a handicap mark and he ran on well close home. He looks one to catch in a 3yo handicap next time out over 12f. _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Blimey O'Riley
Wanted to see how this one got on today when unfancied to take the race on handicap debut, had no chance with the winner, but looked one to watch out for in future handicaps.
My Aunt Fanny
Again wanted to see this horse run today, and thought it was an encouraging race, mullered by Kay Es Jay, but when penny dropped stayed on. Looks a future winner when sights are lowered a little bit.
Black Cat Crossing
Left Ballydyle for just 6000gns, having originally cost $3.1m as a yearling, was not disgraced in Group company on debut last term, and made an encouraging start in a maiden today, should come on for the run and though clearly not going to be a world beater, should have races within grasp.
Kind Regards
