As there has been chances recently we feel its necessary to enforce how things work and what we are seeking to achieve. We now have two daily threads, one being a selection thread and one being a chat thread. Please do not create threads outisde of these for selections purposes. Whoever creates the daily threads please use the following template in capitals...

HORSE RACING MONDAY - SELECTIONS
HORSE RACING MONDAY - CHAT

Selection Thread
Informative selections for the days horse racing tips, please ensure reasons are added to selections. Selections without some form of analysis are worthless, if you wish to post like this then please create a blog in the correct section or use the tipster comp. Please don’t post anything in this thread thats not a informative selection for the days racing.

Chat Thread
Firstly no selections, full stop. This is for general chat about the days races, results analysis, praise for members (not self) and post race analysis. Again for viewers who dont use the forum of anything other than aresource they will only view the selection thread so its vital all selections are added there, any non informed selections can be made via the tipster competition.

Debate Thread

For serious horse related topics, talk about horses, jockeys trainers and the like, this is not for specfic selections or and betting related topics just for the love of the sport.

Please remember the general rules of the site, these are in place on every section of the forum.

Remember if required you can use OLBGs horse code feature on the selection thread...

WHAT IS HORSE CODE
Now when you list a horse as one of your selections you can have the site automatically lookup the
- race details,
- best odds and
- bookie
and keep them up to data all day.

HOW TO CREATE THE CODE
EG for a horse Rotuma running in the 17.00 Newcastle
All you have to do is type (horse)Rotuma(/horse) replacing the curly brackets ( and ) Ive just used here with square brackets [ and ]

As long as the name of the horse matches the ValueChecker name of a horse then it will show the race details and best odds

So (horse)Rotuma(/horse) with square brackets
becomes

17.00 Newcastle ROTUMA @ 3-1 from Sporting Odds

If the odds or best bookie change then this will be adjusted automatically

Once the race has started this will chance to
17.00 Newcastle ROTUMA @ 3-1

NOT WORKING?
If the horse name you use doesnt match the name of Valuechecker then then it wont work
Prior to 8am we may not have the days racing data so the info may not show up stright away
12 hours after the race the data will be gone so just the horse name will be shown
