| Anyone think that Shipmaster is overpriced for the Chester Cup at 17/1? Already a class one winner this year and the ground should suit providing that it doesnt dry up too much. |

| I think thats the key - the ground. If it keeps drying out then I very much doubt I can back him but we shall see. Quite liking Tilt at the moment aswell. |

I don' think the weight will be too much of an issue but the ground has gone against him. Also for a prominent runner he will probably have to race wide given his wide draw. _________________ Royal Ascot Comp 2007 #3, Aintree Comp 2008 #1

Weather at Chester breezy and quite warm can only dry the ground out more _________________ NEVER WORRY ABOUT LOSER,S THEY ONLY BRING YOU ONE CLOSER TO YOUR NEXT WINNER |

Draw can definately help provided your horse gets out and gets his position early but theres always someone after your spec and you dont want to be 3 wide all the way round Fair Along gets the e/w vote from me think this years pilot will do better _________________ NEVER WORRY ABOUT LOSER,S THEY ONLY BRING YOU ONE CLOSER TO YOUR NEXT WINNER |

Enfield have you seen Chester before. Unlike any other course in the country its unbelievably tight, its like racing on a sixpence. You can win this race from a wide draw but the jockey needs to given an inspired ride and better drawn horses have a clear advantage. _________________ Royal Ascot Comp 2007 #3, Aintree Comp 2008 #1

Its straight from 7 1/2 f to 6f out and theres another chance from 3f out to 2f out then the straight theres a chance going for the inside as horses tend to fan out coming into the straight but the door can close but the course apart from that is always turning throwing the horses wide in some cases _________________ NEVER WORRY ABOUT LOSER,S THEY ONLY BRING YOU ONE CLOSER TO YOUR NEXT WINNER |

Hi all, looking forward to todays action.
Really think Shes A Shaw Thing is a good filly, but will she be able to act on the quicker surface? At 8/11, I am not willing to take the risk that's for sure!!!
Think Sail has got a lot of improvement in her and the same can be said of Patkai who, despite his poor draw, can win today.
I always find the Chester Cup hard to fathom out but, think Black Rock can overcome stall 15 with Mr Tactics himself, Philip Robinson, aboard.
Should be a enjoyable a hopefully profitable day! _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

| Extradionary move from Doncaster Rover in the market. Started at 3.50 then went all the way to 6's before coming into 4.33 - no-one knew what to do with it. Makes a good start for me though - even if I did get it at its lowest price. |
