Well, after getting the times wrong for my first two tips (cheers to richardmcfc for correcting me!) things can only get better.
I wouldn't begrudge Maraahel the win in the Huxley, but think the race will be set up for Stotsfold to pounce late. Think the pace may not suit Multidimensional and is quick ground around Chester really going to bring out the best in him?
Stotsfold's record on Good/Good to Firm ground: 765112315 (and when you consider his first three runs were to get a handicap mark, then they are impressive figures - 112315)
Stotsfold's record at Chester: 112 and I know people will say Maraahel's form round here is better, but I feel that Stotsfold goes better on quick ground and the race could be run to suit better and also, he is likely to be better value.
Quote from the RP summery of Multidimensional's run at Newmarket "The winner’s stablemate Multidimensional looked to have the stronger claims of the Henry Cecil pair, but he is another that connections felt did not have the race run to suit, for he looks a confirmed hold-up horse and did not get the cover he would have liked. Having missed most of last season with a pelvic problem he looked well up to winning at this level, and probably better, when fifth in the Champion Stakes. He is well worth another chance." Only six runners in this and there were eight in the race talked about above, so what has changed?
Also, really think Doctor Fremantle will win the Chester Vase. Stoute wouldn't chuck away his handicap mark if he wasn't sure he could bridge the gap between handicap and Group company and also will be a lot better suited to 1m 4f. Pampas Cat's form is adding up well and also has been in sparkling form at home, but it's rare for horses with so little experience to win it.
Finally, Royalist looks very well handicapped in the 3.15 and has the best draw, so it would be surprising to see him not go close tomorrow. Adversity is drawn in the car park as too is Wasan and he would like more cut.
Should be another good day watching wise, lets hope it's a good days punting too! _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Can't be doing with getting suited and booted, its gonna be too warm for that. |

| Fairly new to Betfair but just noticed in the 3.15 at Chester there has been a lot of trading on Royalist - £45000 of total of £51000. Is this common?? |

Just thought I'd flag this & ask a question.
First race at Chester, I liked the look of the Gosden runner, Escape Route. However, it's on the drift with Paddy Power & Philanthropy has been backed from 18/1 into 10s.
Am I right in assuming the draw is a big factor in this? I'm a novice where this lark is concerned so apologies if it's a stupid question. |

Off to Uttoxeter on Sunday, in my caravan. Has anyone got anything that is worth a flutter. If you can give me a good tip I will give you a wave from my van. _________________ I tow a caravan but I never hold other drivers up except when there is a speed limit. |

i felt Ella Woodcock was over priced at 25/1 in places.
But i am hoping to get back to winning ways with "Bahar Shumaal" and if he can make the running in this might stay there
A win on Bahar and e/w way on Ella for small stakes
The apprentice on Bahar had no idea how to ride this..it have to disagree with C4 saying the front runners went off to quick..Bahar had plenty in the tank on the turn..but he eased the horse up on the turn and never pushed the horse home when he should of with 2L in front..shame an amateur on this. _________________ Colin Dune

| What happened Temple Place in that race? His odds shot up to 55 just after the start. |
