Not really a question that can have a full topic on is it Graeme, surley more suited to the chat thread, rather than a dedicated thread to dresscode. Similar question asked by member this morning and was answered quickly.
Kind Regards

At the end of the day, people can give there opinion, and what has happened before but at the end of the day, if for some reason you do not take a jacket and you are refused entry, you would feel very dissapointed. That is unlikely to happen, but the best solution would be one of these two.
1) Take your jacket with you, you do not have to wear it!
2) Ring Chester Racecourse and ask them! There number is Tel: 01244 304600
Kind Regards
