Haydock, Leopardstown and Stratford all been confirmed as off!!!
Thank goodness I'm at footy today with only Kempton on the TV now. Still a good meeting, but shame to see three Group 1's lost, though on the flipside, it would have seriously effected the results and doubtful we'd of got a true reflections of the horses abilities.
However, Leopardstown are planning to move the card to tomorrow, though cannot see how conditions will improve a great deal and any further rain would surely see it abandoned once more. _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained. |

Damn wish I had seen your post before putting up selections on my laying blog. The forecast here tomorrow is pretty good and there not giving much rain today so there is a good chance that Leopardstown will go ahead. _________________ Rafael de Silva - The next big thing |

Oh no, I lost a lot yesterday, was hoping to make it up with a few decent winners today.
Looks like I shall have to rely on the Lottery to get me back on track. |

Seems as though they are confident KC.
From the RP website:
| Quote: |
OFFICIALS at Leopardstown decided that following a 7am inspection on Saturday the course was unfit for racing but will reasses the situation throughout the afternoon and are confident the meeting can go ahead on Sunday.
Following over 45 millimetres of rain on Friday officials were forced to call a 7am inspection and contingency plans were put in place for the card to take place on Sunday.
Those plans will now be put into play and the bumper eight-race card which is due to feature two Group 1 contests in the Tattersalls Millions Champion Stakes and the Coolmore Fusaichi Pegasus Matron Stakes will begin at 1.40pm On Sunday.
Original declarations will stand but due to a clash with Dundalk on the same day, fresh nomination of riders for both meetings would have to be made between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday |

It would have been a lottery anyway with the state the ground would have been riding in. Certainly was not a day to be chasing any losses! _________________ Nothing ventured, nothing gained. |

Aidan no rain is expected in Dublin today and it is expected too be warm tommorow.. Sunday for me would be the better day for a reschedule as its forecasted too be a terrible week here after Sunday..
Really hoping Richard Hannon can take another valuable 2 year old race with Elnawin |
