Billy121's Race Analysis & Tissue Prices;
3.10 Fontwell
RYDER’S STORM 33/1– Ran another shocker last time and easy to leave alone off top weight. Trainer has dismal course record.
DASHER REILLY 16/1 – All out to win a modest race and ran no sort of race next time. That run may have come too soon but overall profile unconvincing.
TAYMAN 10/1 – Makes some appeal on hurdles form although this mark looks about right. Chase debut and that poses too much of a question for my liking.
CASH ON FRIDAY 20/1 – Looks on a plenty stiff enough mark and makes very limited appeal back from 102 day break.
NEUTRINO 6/1 – Showed last time that he is capable off this mark and similar chance on the book to TEMPESFORD. Had a fair bit of racing but likely to run well.
TEMPESFORD 7/2 – AP got this horse to win last time after a very modest run previously. May well be more to come and probably a worthy favourite but overall profile just sounds a note of caution.
MASTERPOINT 22/1 – Scraped home in a modest staying chase but tailed off from revised mark last time and makes no appeal today.
FOLLOW YOUR HEART 7/1 – Is capable of a good old fashioned front running demolition on his day but has run as though something amiss on more than one occasion. No certainty to repeat last time’s effort here and any softening of the ground a negative.
MONZOON 22/1 – A little difficult to weigh up as he is usually campaigned in races way above his level. Win record of 1/32 is still not good though and may need this after a break.
DUGGAN’S FORGE 25/1 – Anything from this stable aways respected but a large leap of faith required here on chasing debut.
KELTIC LORD 10/1 – Poor win record and getting on in years. Ran well enough behind FOLLOW YOUR HEART last time but raised 4 lb for that and has not got his head in front for a very long time.
BAY MOUSE 16/1 – Fortunate win followed by two modest efforts. Lightly raced so open to improvement but will need to find plenty to come out on top today.
PHILDARI 14/1 – Has not looked the same horse this season after a long break and dismal effort over fences two starts back before poor effort in selling hurdle. On his day he would be more than capable and his trainer, who is a rare visitor to Fontwell, presumably thinks this course may re-kindle some enthusiasm. Could see a big run but just as easily see a stinker. Backers likely to know their fate after the first few fences.
Conclusion: In the hopes that a 53-day break will have freshened him up, I am going to take a chance with PHILDARI. Of the others, TEMPESFORD and NEUTRINO make the most appeal. _________________ It's the hardest way to make an easy living............ |

CAREFREE SMILE 1.40 Leopardstown @ SP
This looks a cracking bet even though its a Leopardstown maiden on Champion Stakes day.. Sure too be a competitive affair but Dermot Weld looks too hold the ace with Carefree Smile who was a very good second first time out when just loosing out to Oui Say Oui in a competitive Curragh maiden last month over 6 furlongs.. The trip is 7 furlongs today which is likely too help been a daughter off Invincible Spirit.. She will handle the soft conditions better than most as she did her running last time on yielding ground.. The form off the Curragh maiden is really working out and a repeat off that performance would see her go very close and is likely too improve a great deal for that outing.. Dermot has won this maiden the last two years last year with the impressive filly Chinese White who was held in some regard by the yard.. |

hattan was a good result yesterday and hopefully more of the same today...
Again i dont like the short odds of the favs and am sticking with leopardstown particually o'brians outsiders to spring a surprise.
14.40 YOURSOTHRILLING last race was denied a clear run 2f out, had great form before 2121 and although rested i believe it can maybe spring a surprise, 40/1 on Betfair is a big price
15.50 MORES WELLS come to form of late and loves the track, with the duke gone so have big prices but 12/1 represents good value and will go close |

2.30 Thirsk
Glen Lady NAP
Being dropped in grade and still open to improvement, I do feel last times effort after running into 5th, just 1 length behind..after being bumped in the Warwick maiden last time up..was very unlucky.
Should really make ammends here today.

After getting a winning NAP on day 1 of the month i have now gone 5 days without a winning NAP so please be causious if follow my selections because they have not been good lately!!!!
2.40 Fontwell
CAVALLINI (NAP)
He has only been out over hurdles three times with the majority of his runs coming on the flat but on his last two starts he has finished second both times, first of all here at Fontwell when he was beaten by a good Quackers who has since gone on two win his next two starts making it four wins on the trot so to lose by just under three lengths is no disgrave and he also finished nineteen lengths ahead of the third runner, his latest effort over hurdles came at Newton Abbot where he again finished second this time behind Leo's Lucky Star which again is no disgrace because he has since gone on to complete the hatrick and again he was well clear of the third place runner (12l), I do not believe there is a runner in this race who is as good as the two who have beaten him and i believe he has the ability to finally pick up his first win over hurdles.

2.40 leop
caribean sunset
with the prospect of testing ground i feel sunset will cope with conditions better than the big two of race and does not have a lot to find with them anyway
2.40 fontwell
cavallini
I know fairly short but has form in book ,receives a stone from previous winner and g moore has been unfortunate not to win this corresponding race in recent years
5.05 leop
ebashan
comes from a good family ,should handle conditions and trainer has had a winner and runner up in this race in last two years and horse has a group 2 entry
good luck |

| Really like the look of whiteoak lady 2pm Thirsk - likes the ground and is a nice each-way price at 6-1. |

3.50 Leopardstown
MULTIDIMENSIONAL
Well, we know the DUKE is out, and things are set up now for NEW APPROACH, but I don’t think it will be as simple as that. Things are still very much on the wet side, and whilst there is a train of thought, that class horses can win under any conditions, I, although partially in agreement, think that this could give another a very good chance. Henry Cecils MULTIDIMENSIONAL, will have no issues with the going today, and if there is one that can take on the short priced fav, and provide a little value this one could be it. Trading at 8 on Betfair as I write, this is my value bet for the day.
Agree with abiove comment about caribbean Sunset and the going so wont elaborate on that.
All my further selections from System, Notes and form picks are in my blog

Hey all...looks like some really good racing today.
HUXAAR (no odds found)
This horse stands out as a worthy favourite especially with the poor weather around the country. Has been improving with every race and ran a very good 2nd LTO on soft ground (same today) when 6L clear of the rest. The current 6/4 looks good value here.
WINGED DARGENT (no odds found)
Now I've toyed between the selection and Bolin Felix for this race. Both like the ground and both have been in good form. When they last met at the end of June the section came home 3 1/2 lengths in front (eased). They have both gone up in the weights since but reoppose on exactly the same terms. Therefore I've gone for the better value in Winged d'Argent.
NOTE TO SELF - Don't be greedy

FAMOUS NAME - 2:10 @ Leopardstown (Kilternan Stakes - Group 3)
Started the season in very impressive fashion as he beat Moiqen very comfortably in a Guineas trial before going on to be only narrowly denied in the Group 1 Prix Du Jockey-Club at Chantilly. He is a very short price here but deservedly so as if he runs to anywhere near his best then he should be far too good for today's rivals.
LISTEN - 2:40 @ Leopardstown (Matron Stakes - Group 1)
The second string of the O Brien quartet here and although having her first run in almost a year she could still get heavily involved here. She won on her debut over 6f at the Curragh last year before finishing a narrow runner-up twice over 7f at the same venue. After that she went over to Ascot to contest the Group 1 Meon Valley Stud Fillies Mile and she won it with great authority under Johnny Murtagh. There's no telling how much she has improved since but she is held in high regard by connections and is a very interesting runner in this race for sure - worth a bet at 9/1 given the concerns about Lush Lashes (trip) and Halfway To Heaven (ground) in this race.
RED ROCK CANYON - 3:50 @ Leopardstown (Irish Champion Stakes - Group 1)
The Duke is out here so that leaves New Approach as the long odds on favourite to win this but I've been saying for a long time that this horse will win at a big price one of these days and today might be the day. His best runs have come over this trip with similar cut in the ground - finished 3rd in this race last year behind Dylan Thomas and Duke Of Marmalade - and although he will still be acting as a pacesetter to King Of Rome I think he has a great chance of holding on in front or least for a place. He is a battler and I think he has a better chance than his odds suggest - great e/w bet in my mind. _________________ 35 TO FOLLOW

THIRSK 3.30 … HORATIO CARTER
Ran well under a penalty latest outing at Musselburgh when staying on at the finish. At the top of his game at the moment and should find this track more to his liking and the 5/1 on offer looks to be a fair price. _________________ The sour taste of Loss makes the taste of Success even Sweeter.......
