Looking forward too a very good day off Group 1 action.. Fingers are firmly crossed for all British and Irish runners that have gone too France and Germany..
I fancy Gary Moore too win the first 2 at Fontwell.. His runners always seem too run well at the track..
And regarding the Champion Stakes remember that King of Rome was Johnny Murtaghs Derby pick but he clearly wasnt giving his running at the time and possibly didnt handle the Epsom track.. Has really hit form and this looks his trip whereas New Approach looks to need 2 furlongs extra in order to settle.. New Approach is the likely winner but his odds have just gone too short.. |

I see thirsk has survived today, will the horses be wearing wellies ??
Here's a question, the last two summers I think everyone would agree have been pretty wet, thus i would think there has been a lot more racing on soft, good to soft etc, than perhaps has been seen previously. So is this changing the prices in the bloodstock world, will the buyers be looking at bloodlines where success has been seen historically on softer going ?
Good Luck today with your selections.

Bet365 have got the Duke as a non-runner now.
But Betfair are still trading and they're usually the quickest to pull out N/Rs??? Anyone know what's going on? Definitely won't be backing him anyway. |

on RP site there is no price for him and new approach is 4/7
i would be laying the duke on Betfair for the above reason
edit, BlueSq has him as non runner too, 1/2 new approach
might have a couple of quid on king of rome ew |

I backed New approach on Betfair at 2.48 when I heard the Duke was a non-runner with a view to laying it later & making easy money!
I didn't realise that the rule4 applied to betting exchanges!!
Now I just have to hope the money comes for New Approach so I can trade out or i'm looking at a loss!!
Think New Approach will win but not prepared to risk it as I have given up odds on betting! _________________ Paul Gascoigne, Gascoigne, he's done his country proud, so sing his name out loud |

Good morning sunday punters, some good group 1 races to look at.
The Duke is a non runner now, looks like the door wide open for New Approach to do the job, if he settles very good if not multidimensional could fit the bill having won on the heavy going.
The 2.40 at Leopardstown see's the return of a very good filly called LISTEN, this girl can quicken in heavy ground, has a very good chance of winning this, I do not think O'brien will be running her to get fit. At 8/1 and a class act looks the part.
Fontwell first two races look in the hands of the Moore team with Woolfall Treasure and Cavallini.
Thirsk Winged D'argent could be the answer here as he likes the heavy ground and already beaten Bollin Felix at level weights.
Longchamp belongs to Henrythenavigator to win his fifth group 1 on the trot. |

Really looking forward to the 3.20 at Longchamp. Should be one of the best races so far this season. Been a while now since you could get 7/4 about Henry and thats probably as much due to the ground as the opposition who is pretty damn good in Paco Boy, Goldikova, Darjina & Natagora. Myself, ill be backing Paco.. This horse also looks like a monster and has a turn of foot to rival Henrys, though he's is just as effective on soft ground and there is still question marks about Henrys ability to quicken on the soft stuff. Henrys also got a pretty awful draw and will need every bit of that turn of foot in the straight to get close so its Paco for me |

Go to any bookmaker site and click on commentary/audio - usually listed down the left hand side or across the top. There will be an "Irish Racing" option then once the window opens up. _________________ 35 TO FOLLOW
