|
|
Hi Guys, been away for a while "so to speak!"
Has anyone ever trialled backing the fav's in the first 3, 4 ,5 races of the day and then bailing out?
I have been dipping in and out over the last couple of months and to be honest - it looks like maybe a winner to me?
Any ideas?
Cheers

| This is a losing system - I know I tried it a long time ago and at some point it will go bust if you stake up after each loss. It can work well for short periods but give it a miss and find something better or you will lose plenty! |

| It is interesting as most of the time, on the flat, the first race of a meet is a maiden where the betting more often than not reveals the clues. But there is no fast way of beating the bookie without hard graft and research. |

Ever increasing stakes to chase losses is always a bad idea, whatever way it get packaged up. Been there, tried it, quickly gave it up. _________________ betking vs man o bong

| You should read the article on Sundays News Of the World about the guy from the UK making 23 million in a year by laying favorites that should answer your question! |

Nothing wrong with backing Favs so long as they are the right ones!! Value can be found with Favs as well but I have never bought into this "value" thing - to me all that matters is finding a winnner and making a profit over time. Ofcourse there are investers who swear by "value" and it appears to work for them so look into this more on this site and others and make up your on mind.
A good winning system can be based on Favs or non Favs but if it works over time and makes a good return who cares? |
