8.10 NEWBURY
PATRICIAN'S GLORY
A very good race for a Thursday night and although there's only six runners the competition on offer looks good. Plum Pudding as been running well of late, winning on return from a break over today's conditions before running a fine race LTO over a trip that looked to far against better opposition than he's been meeting. He's managed seven wins in his career on turf to date but none of them have been under the guidance of today's jockey Richard Hughes which would be a slight concern. Gallagher is the class horse in the race running some very nice races at Group one and two level but he's only managed one win in seven starts so far and i think he may fair better over six rather than today's seven. Martin Dwyer remains in the saddle after taking his debut mount on the colt LTO. PATRICIAN'S GLORY ran fairly well LTO when just under two lengths behind today's favourite Gallagher but the selection was keeping on in the final. The seven seems to suit the Tate colt the better and he's the only CD winner in the field while jockey O'Shea is capable of producing the goods at the highest level. Tate stable ain't having the best of runs at the moment but i feel this is the value at the prices.

Hoping my run dont stop yet as iv had a nice few naps going in so heres hoping todays as good.
My NAP goes in the 8.10 Newbury 7f class 3 GALLAGHER I fancied this at Ascot and backed it ante post, clearly on form looks the stand out choice here been running in class 1 and group 1 races definetly neede the run lto at Ascot finishing 4th over 7furlongs on good to firm going after starting slowly made very good headway and cpuldnt get to the first 3 and to me they all have this horse to beat. easy way
90clock Epsom is my n/b 1m2 class 4 race EASTERN ARIA
has already won a class 4 race over 1m1 and when got in front drew away and won quite easy in the end,lto it was in a class 3 over and was beaten by its stabel mate keeping on very well ,M.Johnson will no the strengh of Dubai Echo as it beat Interdiamonds who has since come out and won in a canter so EASTERN ARIA to me is a tip initself. double today
I also fancy BENLLECH in the 7.55 Epom has gone close on both its last two starts and is carring 2lb extra tonight but has S.Sanders on,Abraham Lincoln looks the class horse but hasnt been doing anything including its last two starts where its been unplaced on both so for me BENLLECH will cary my money. :hope:non runner

Haydock 14:40
Rose Blossom Lay
Same trainer and jocky as yesterday's joint fave Elusive Sue came 2nd of 7th on a 5F long race. The jocky has ridden this horse be for and came 7th of 13th, i know theres less runners today with only 5 but i dont think he has what it takes. I think Lady Springbank will take this with only run twice in its life and 1 once and placed once but the place was 3rd out of 8 but with destence winner i think that ill win. |

I spent hours last night looking through form, stats, old videos in my first attempt to pick winners. All of this shall take place at Yarmouth. So here are my choices for Yarmouth, wish me luck
Yarmouth
2:30 SHOWCASING - looks like you guys know about this one anyway
3:00 VADUZ - not a great race here, but Vaduz is my form pick
3:30 IASIA - a drop in class, likes to stay near the front. Could work in its favour
4:00 BUCKIE BOY - Likes to get out with the leaders, consistantly runs strong. Only threat could be Luc Jordan
4:30 ICEMAN GEORGE - the best record at this class, but has actually lost before to Cwm Rhondda....whose record other than that win doesn't grab me. So I'm going to give the iceman a chance for revenge
5:00 MYKINGDOMFORAHORSE (NAP) - No competition for this horse really, likes the weight, likes the class. Record speaks for itself. I also fancy a little e/w on Chantilly Dancer who has stepped up in class for this one
5:30 CLIPPERDOWN - This was a tougher race to pick a winner, but this horse stands out performing well at various weights. Dobravany looks one for a place
Good Luck

3:10 Haydock
Glasshoughton NAP
Hold-up performer who needs things to fall his way, hence without a win since 2007, but definite signs he is in the sort of form to take advantage of current mark.
7:25 Epsom Downs
Dens Gift
Prominent racer who progressed well in 2008. Back to winning ways at Lingfield in January. Good placed efforts last 2 starts and looks sure to be in the mix again. |

MY two lays today are SHOWCASING and STATESIDE
STATESIDE 9.20 Redcar 1m2f class 5 won its last two races class 6 and class 5,
lto won a class 5 race by a head over 1m1furlong was hard ridden and all out,it now carries 11lb more for that all out performance and is clearly a Lay for me.
Yarmouth 6furlong maiden stakes 2.30 SHOWCASING finished 2nd on its only start and even thou it was a very good race the 1/2 its showing I would Lay all day long, theirs a lot of unkmown newcomers here with the boys in blue,M.Johnson,Jarvis and many more theese horses could be anything and would certanly make me Lay Showcasing at that price. |

2:10 Haydock
Going For Gold (NAP) @ 9/4 @11/8
impressive first run of the season at Newbury last month. 2L 2nd to Hidden Brief, Going for Gold was staying on strongly at the finish and will appreciate the extra 2 furlongs today. It is a huge price and i would be surprised if the sp is anywhere near the current 2/1. Get on early.
2:30 Yarmouth Seamster @ 11/2
this was to be Dettoris only ride of the day, so it must be well thought of. Suroor does do reasonably well here and so Seamster will be carrying my cash. _________________ Never pay for tips, Why would you?.

Doing these on my mobile in very sunny blackpool enjoying a trip to see our son who is working as a D.J in the resort so just one punt today as i have hardly had time to research with driving us here but will try to scan the net on my phone later for the one a day comp. JOHN KEATS 3.10 Haydock ran a few days ago but before that came a 3 1/2L 3rd to one of my punts yesterday RED CAPE at thirsk and seeing how easy that won yesterday Goldie did a few of us a favour on here yesterday with TOSHI and is in form so i feel 6/1 win n place on Betfair is a decent punt .Be Lucky Chaps! |

YARMOUTH
15:30 HOBSON
Will be suited to the step back up in trip and been running well recently.
The alternative at a price is TAAKAMUL who's only 4lbs higher for latest win.
16:00 LUC JORDAN
Will prefer the faster ground and South African jockey K Shea is on board.
HAYDOCK
15:10 METHAALY
Goes well on ground and trip
15:40 FLIPANDO NAP
Returned to form at Newcastle last time and this is easier.
16:10 CAPTAIN ELLIS
Has had excuses for some of his previous placed efforts and is highest on official figures for this Maiden.Ran well at todays course last time. _________________ Informed Information |

3:20 - Perth - Intense Suspense NAP
Is in good heart after completing a hat trick in pointing.Trip and ground suit and off bottom weight looks the one to beat here.Yards in form and jockey claiming 3 is decent.
3:40 - Haydock - Flipando NB
Very rarely runs a very poor race and although he hasnt been in the best form recently he did bounce back lto with a very good 2nd.He finished only a length behind The Osteopath at Newcastle when not having a clear run through.A few non runners here makes this race slightly easier but Pride Of Kings is still in it and is a danger.I think the selection can get the better of that one though here with everything in his favour.

Have napped one running at Bellewstown later this evening but on top of that will be backing the following from the UK's action. Both selections 12/1 right now and look pretty good value to me.
DO MORE BUSINESS (6:50) Epsom * a tough race to weigh up but the selection ran very well on debut when runner-up to Kate Skate in a decent seller at Goodwood over 5f as the pair pulled clear of the rest. The way he ran that day suggested he would be well worth a step up in trip and this 7f could suit him very well. Should come on plenty for his initial outing and while this race will probably be tough to win the price on offer does look a bit too big. Worth a small dabble in my opinion.
MY BEST BET (8:40) Newbury * well backed at Lingfield five days ago over this trip on similar ground and ran very well when finding only handicap debutant and potentially useful All For You too good. Runs off the same mark here and is offically 2lb well in as he has to race off 72 from Saturday. He was 2 lengths in front of 4th placed Perfect Friend last time off the same terms as today yet the market has My Best Bet almost twice the price of that rival here. Plenty have chances in this race but conditions are ideal for the selection, he appears to be on a nice mark and at 12/1 looks decent value.
best of luck,
Deco. _________________ National Hunt Beginners Guide |

7.35 NEWBURY
WORTH A KING'S (NAP)
Remains on the same mark as when running on well LTO over a two furlong shorter trip and now Beuzelin takes off a very handy five. I think the trip will suit better tonight and the ground should prove no problems.
Good Luck All. |
