2.00 NEWMARKET

EMPEROR CLAUDIUS - NAP - @6/4

Aidan O'Brien is the master at producing group horses on the day and i feel this should be no different. The form of the Chesham Stakes will most likely be reversed here between the selection and Big Audio considering the way it ran on to just be denied. Murtagh takes the ride from Moore which would probably be a slight plus considering he's the only jockey to have won on the colt. The good ground and the seven furlongs shouldn't prove any problems so i would be disappointed if not going very very close.

Good Luck All. Fingers Crossed

14.00 Newmarket

I am looking at the same race mooster Very Happy

The favoirite Emperor Claudius was unlucky last time out, but I fancy Silver Grecian to go close here. He has had two impressive wins so far and although it is unknown what he has beaten yet, the manner and particularly the timing should see him go close here.
Best of the rest Lord Zenith is coming out of an impressive win last time and the form behind Arcano has been working out very well.

15.10 Newmarket

Scenic Blast was very well tipped here last time out and won accordingly, but he just did not impress me.Fleeting spirit finished second on that occasion but I think there is a couple here that could beat her and even 10/1 is looking too short to me for the win. J J The Jet Plane is another one with no chance, considering the form of the horses he has beaten.
Paco Boy is a very good horse, but I have concerns about the trip and the jockey booking, but he will be running on late, so maybe a bet in running for me.
Art Connoisseur was a worthy winner in Ascot, the trip and ground should suit and I think he is here with a chance. Takeover Target is 10 years of age and although lightly raced and able to sneak a place, the win might be too much of an effort. Main Aim is interesting, back to 6f where he performs best, but he needs some juice in the ground..Same applies to African Rose.

I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE DRAW OF THE HORSES THAT WON FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS and my selections Art Connoisseur and Paco Boy should stand no chance Shocked

3.10 newmarket - PACO BOY

A superb field line up for what is possibly the race of the season so far and there are many who have sound claims. The obvious place to start is with the likely fav SCENIC BLAST who i have had the pleasure of seeing in the flesh at the melbourne cup meeting a couple of years back. He has improved since then and is a proper group 1 horse now as he showed with his superb turn of foot in the kings stand when he came from what looked like a bad draw to win easily from fleeting spirit. Another ascot winner was ART CONNOISSEUR who folowed up the previous years coventry win with another fantastic performance in the golden jubilee where he held the late challenge of the american raider cannonball with JJ THE JET PLANE back in 4th. The former may well get the race run to suit as he's best coming off a srong pace but he is best on fast ground and may just find the conditions against him. The latter is a multiple grade 1 winner in south africa and is very highly rated by his brilliant trainer but he may just find these a bit too hot, though a decent showing is still on the cards. MAIN AIM has improved very well this year and ran a fine race to be 4th in the queen anne at ascot where the mile may just have stretched his stamina behind PACO BOY. That brings me nicely onto the selection. He has won 9 of his 14 starts to date and is unbeaten over 7f including a group 1 win at that distance. Winner of the queen anne last time proved to his critics that he stayed the mile. He travells so well in his races that a fast run 6f should be no problem and the stiff finish will suit him better than anything else in the race. He goes on the ground, has a superb turn of foot to go with his excellent temprement, he's in the right hands and has a superb big race jockey in jimmy fortune. For me at around the 9/2 mark in think he is fantastic value and i see him being rated the top horse in the world by around 3.20 on friday afternoon. A brilliant race in prospect and 1 for the video recorder

4.20 Newmarket - Tres Coronas : I find it interesting that this is the only runner David Barron is sending down to Newmarket tomorrow from his yard in North Yorkshire. The gelding does appear to have been targeted for a mid to late season Nursery campaign having been given an eight week break since three races in the space of a month back in the spring. The step up to 7 furlongs should not be a problem being out of a mare by Dr Devious and going looks ideal too. Anyone with a good memory ( stretching back to the year 2000 ) should recall a horse from the same stable called Dim Sums which started his Nursery campaign by winning off a mark of 79 and just two starts later won the valuable Redcar 2.yo Trophy rated some twenty pounds higher. It will be surprising if Tres Coronas reaches the same heights as Dim Sums this season - they are a different type of animal - but he clearly possesses ability and should not be overlooked here. One point to note is that the stable has had rather a quiet season - winner wise - but in the last fortnight have had five runners up & three thirds so if good enough a bold showing may be on the cards for Tres Coronas .

1.30 Newmarket KYLLACHY STAR

(After yesterdays exciting couple of winners and sitting holding my head high for once we move into Friday racing from Newmarket) Very Happy

R Fahy horses are really in great form and KYLLACHY STAR ridden by Tony Hamilton can possibly start the day off in tremendous fashion by running a big race in the first. Always finishing with a rattle over seven furlongs this extra furlong could be the answer to his hatrick of wins.
Got into trouble at Sandown and managed to get clear and finish strongly and comfortably, which could point to him being a better horse over this mile, as the seven at Sandown finish is all up hill, which can have a feel of a mile.

2.00 Newmarket BIG AUDIO

The first two that came home in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot meet here again my selection and Emperor Claudius. I am staying with R Hannon two year as he would of won by a bit more if he did not veer sharply left last time. Seven furlongs looks his trip at present and has entries in the big sale races later, as with all Hannon two year olds, he likes to get involved in these races. With three races under his belt this colt can only improve and certainly the Royal Ascot race would of brought him on and ready to run another good race.

2.35 Newmarket GIGANTICUS

I am staying with the Barry Hills trained seven furlong specialist, He has been coming into form slowly and has a good chance of competing two wins on the trot, even though he has gone back up the handicap slightly, M Hills brought him with well timed run and he can deliver him once again with another winning ride, hopefully. Redford who is better off at the weights from the Ascot race could not quicken with GIGANTICUS, also Al Muheer from the Clive Brittain stable had every chance but found the Hills horse to strong at the finish.

3.10 Newmarket PACO BOY

What a race to look forward to. A 50/1 shot Ancien Regime trained by Saeed Bin Suroor and ridden by F Dettori who had three winners yesterday,(can not remember the last time they had a price that big).
Equiano and Prime Defender from the Hills yard both 100/1.
Working down the prices of these good horses we have Kings Apostle, African Rose,Main Aim along with Golden Jubilee winner Art Connoisseur and Fleeting Spirit who was runner up in the Kings Stand Stakes behind todays favourite from America Scenic Blast.
With Scenic Blast and TakeoverTarget along with JJ the Jet Plane setting the pace to the race, could set this up with a horse that can finish his races off strongly, this brings PACO BOY into the lime light who has a high cruiseing speed and certainly has a turn of foot and coming back to six furlongs will not bother him at all. With so much speed in the race his stamina will be brought to the fore. Without R Hughes on board, Jimmy Fortune has received a very good ride and will be advised by Richard to when to play his hand.

3.10 Newmarket NAP FLEETING SPIRIT
class1 6furlongs
ANCIEN REGIME looks to have it to do here and cant see Frankie having this winner.
EQUIANO weakened behind Scenic Blast lto and cant see this turning the tables today.
INTERPID JACK FINISHED 4TH IN A VERY WEAK CLASS 3 Lto
JJ THE JET PLANE was my Lay of the day lto and finished better than i thought it would 4th previously beat interpid jack and no place hope again today.
KINGS APOSTLE finished 10th in jj planes race and probally will again here.
MAIN AIM feel this needs a longer trip and will be running on late to late.
PACO BOY has a poor draw here in the 1 box and looks like place hopes.
PRIME DEFENDER doesnt look this class.
SCENIC BLAST won lto over 5 furlong was pushed out to beat fleeting spirit and feel this will fade in the final furlong and am laying not to be in the first 3.and not in the first 3 Win
TAKEOVER TARGET 10 year old could well be in the frame here and not underestimated by me.
AFRICAN ROSE not for me well after looking again must say another that cld have place claims
ART CONNOISEUR drawn 4 may be its downfall here but another who must have good Each Way claims.
FLEETING SPIRIT NAP T.Queally on and no R.Moore but thats because R.Moore is on for his governor M.Stout Queally great pace jockey, good draw in the 9 box step up to 6furlong I think Fleeting Spirit will blow theese away Win 1st YE HA

2.00 Newmarket (July) - LORD ZENITH (NB)

A decent renewal of the Superlative Stakes, and it is a race that is dominated by those who were to the fore in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot. However, the selection is a colt who has yet to be tested at this level but who has shown any amount of potential and can make his mark here. He is a son of Zamindar, trained by Andrew Balding who has always held this colt in very high regard; attracted support ahead of his debut run in a 6f maiden when finishing a staying on sixth behind subsequent July Stakes winner Arcano, as well as other subsequent winners Showcasing and Lucky General and subsequent Chesham Stakes third Party Doctor. He looked in need of a step up in trip and he could hardly have been more impressive when landing the odds in a 7f maiden at Salisbury 12 days ago, a race with a rich history; he didn't have much to beat, but he beat them like a good horse should, travelling supremely well and coming into contention on the bridle before sauntering clear to run out a 6 length winner from Cafe Greco. That form does need stepping up on, but his debut form is some of the strongest around this season, and he could do no more than ease clear of his inferior rivals; clearly smart and should prove hard to beat here if progressing as expected. Big Audio will be popular here following victory in the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, but the fact is that the Chesham isn't one of the stronger juvenile races at the track and the fact he was a maiden going into the race and was still good enough to win suggests it was an average renewal. Still, he showed much more than he had in a couple of maidens previously, perhaps appreciating the step up in trip, but previous Chesham to chance their arm in this haven't got a good record and he does need improve again to take a hand in the finish. The runner up on that occaison was the impeccably bred Emperor Claudius, a Giant's Causeway colt, out of the yard's 1000 Guineas winner Virginia Waters; he got to within a short head of Big Audio in the Chesham, though it's fair to say he had an interrupted passage, being forced to switch and responding gamely for pressure, only just failing to reel back the leader. However, he doesn't look one of the yard's leading lights, this backed up by the fact he lacks a plethora of big race entries like the yard's juveniles and is another who needs to raise him game, albeit he should be up to reversing form with Big Audio, and will be suited by this stiff 7f. Karl Burke has always rated Silenceofthewind as a very good horse, borne out by the fact he started him off in a 6f conditions event at Pontefract, for which he was as short as 8/1, but not a lot went right for him as he was hampered and almost fell when looking for room to challenge, understandably being allowed to coast home thereafter. However, he showed no ill-affects when readily accounting for his rivals in a 6f maiden at Newcastle last time, always racing prominently and taking over passing halfway before kicking on and scoring with the minimum amount of fuss by 3 lengths. Like Lord Zenith, he does need to step up on that, but is also well liked by connections and could do no more than account for inferior rivals; the step up to 7f will suit and he's a major player here. Shakespearean looked a smart prospect when making a winning debut in a 6f maiden at Haydock, coming 3¼ lengths clear of Il Forno and showing a good turn of foot to score decisively. However, he never really got involved when fifth in the Chesham Stakes last time, being outpaced from halfway and never really getting on terms with the principles; likely to benefit from the experience but has work to do to find over 7 lengths with both Big Audio and Emperor Claudius. The Richard Hannon trained Lucky General actually finished in front of the selection on his debut (raced closer to the pace) when fifth behind Arcano in that 6f maiden at Newbury last month, remaining in contention until the front two drew clear as he weakened close home. He showed the benefit for that outing when routing his rivals by 6 lengths in a 6f maiden at Windsor last time, making all and breezing clear from his rivals; more needed but surprising if there isn't improvement forthcoming. No Hubris had been well touted ahead of his maiden win in a decent 6f maiden at York in May, travelling very well from the front and was always in total command, coming clear at the furlong marker and maintaining that advantage, scoring by 2¼ lengths from Flying Statesman. However, he was readily put in his place when sixth behind Canford Cliffs in the Coventry Stakes next time at Royal Ascot, attempting to Lay up with the eventual winner but just couldn't maintain the gallop and paid the price in the closing stages. This longer trip could well suit, and there's certainly nothing of Canford Cliffs' standard here, so possibilities. The John Ryan trained Sliver Grecian was impressive when making a winning debut over course and distance here last month, showing a good turn of foot to come 4 lengths clear of Lean Machine. He then followed up in a small field event over the same trip at Warwick a week ago, again showing a good turn of foot to go 4 lengths clear of his nearest rival. He's clearly progressive and improving rapidly, but this significantly tougher now and not sure his form is that strong, so may find a couple too good for him on this occasion, though he's at least proved he gets the trip.

2.35 Newmarket (July) - AL KHALEEJ

The Bunbury Cup is never an easy race to solve, though it seems a high draw is preferable which perhaps makes things slightly easier this time round. That is good news for the selection here who is drawn in stall 19, and despite a 426 day absence is expected to go well. He is trained by Ed Dunlop and showed good form as a three-year old in handicaps, winning at this course in July 2007 when landing a decent 1m handicap from Annemasse, then ran a perfectly creditable race when third behind an in-form The Illies in a valuable Ascot handicap a couple of weeks later. He disappointed on his only other run thereafter but made a winning reappearance last season in a 7f handicap at Kempton when winning with plenty in hand over the useful Guilded Warrior, showing an impressive turn of foot from off the pace to run on powerfully through the field and win going away under hand riding to score by 3¼ lengths. His final outing came in the Victoria Cup Handicap at Ascot 14 months ago when running a creditable race in defeat behind Zaahid, going clear with the winner but just being done for a turn of foot close home and losing out by just ¼ length. He is best when fresh so this Lay off may even have been a blessing in disguise, though it is clearly not ideal to be returning from such a long absence in a race of this nature; yard have had a few go close in this down the years and this son of Sakhee can finally land them the prize after a few near misses. There is no doubt that Captain Brilliance is the horse who has scope for the most improvement, and the Jeremy Noseda trained colt, who was considered Group material by connections as a juvenile, made a winning return from an injury in a course and distance handicap last month. He was held up off the pace before coming through with a strong challenge to lead and soon quickened clear to win as he pleased, even being allowed the luxury of being eased down close home; has won twice on this course, looks a classy sort and did well to defy his lengthy absence with such aplomb last time but he has the worst of the draw here and that won't make things easy. Redford is a horse who doesn't find as much as looks likely throughout his races, and the gelded son of Bahri is sure to be spotted travelling strongly on the bit as the race takes shape, just as he did last time in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. However, just as he has done on plenty of other occasions, he soon downed tools when pressure was applied and eventually finished third behind the fast finishing Giganticus. He has the basic ability and also some good form in the book that suggests he is a major player here, but his resolution in a tight finish looks questionable and doubtful he'll be allowed to coast to a comfortable victory, so it remains to be seen how much he finds when pressure is applied. The aforementioned Giganticus is a cavalry charge specialists who thrives on a strongly run race over a straight course, but the Barry Hills trained gelding had lost his way since a fruitful campaign in 2007. However, the brief flickers of life he had shown all came in strongly run cavalry charges, such as his fifth placing in this behind Little White Lie and when third to Laa Rayb in the Tote International at Ascot; he'd not shown a great deal this season prior to Royal Ascot but he was well backed and justified the support when coming with a sustained challenge to score by 1¾ lengths from Muheer in the Buckingham Palace. However, he has been raised 7lbs for that victory and was also on the favoured side that day, so now has to prove he can put in a repeat performance off a higher mark and also from a less favourable berth in stall 8. Another Buckingham Palace also ran is the Godolphin representative Mutheeb, but there's a strong suspicion that he'll prove the best of those who took front rank in that race, for he looked greener than most that day, understandable after just three outings. He had won on his only outing at three before making a winning reappearance in a 7f conditions contest at Yarmouth when accounting for useful handicap performer Mia's Boy, scoring by a head. He didn't really appreciate the step back to 6f next time in a minor event at Lingfield behind Strike The Deal and was subsequent made favourite for the Buckingham Palace Stakes; didn't help his cause by pulling hard, though was slightly hampered by a rival leaning in on him when attempting to make his challenge, eventually weakening in the latter stages into fourth. That was the first time he's raced against so many rivals, and it appeared he was caught out by inexperience in the rough and tumble of a cavalry charge. That should have toughened him up and it's hard to believe that he has finished progressing just yet, though not well drawn in stall 7. Laa Rayb is not the most straightforward of customers but is more than capable on his day, as he showed last summer when taking the Tote International Handicap at Ascot and also winning a Group 3 over in France at Deauville. He ran with credit at Group 2 after that but hasn't yet shown a great deal this season, finishing a one-paced third behind General Elliot in a Listed contest at Ascot over 1m and didn't look too willing to go through with his effort in a Listed Race at Windsor. However, he did show a lot more last time back at Windsor under similar conditions when third behind Without A Prayer, looking a real threat until being unable to match that rival's turn of foot. This test should suit him a lot better as he's shown he revels in a race of this nature, the ground is now in his favour, is also down to a feasible mark (just 1lb higher than when he won the International at Ascot) and from a good draw, has definite claims here if putting his best foot forward. The Henry Candy trained Signor Peltro has been showing a good level of consistency in these types of races, winning last time in a 7f handicap at Doncaster when proving too good for Celtic Sultan; had previously finished fourth off the same mark in the Victoria Cup Handicap at Ascot and also beat the winner of this last year, Little White Lie, in a 7f handicap at Goodwood. However, for all he's progressing well, is now asked to race off a career high mark of 96, and has an unhelpful low draw here, too, so perhaps a place is his very best hope. Racer Forever is well capable of holding his own at Group 3/Listed level on his day, but the fact is that he often holds back a little for himself and doesn't put it all in on occasions. However, he does go particularly well at this course, winning the Group 3 Criterion Stakes here just over a year ago, but did disappoint in this next time out, albeit off a 4lbs higher mark than now. He pulled far too hard for his own good when a tailed off last of five at Leicester on his reappearance but showed a lot more last time when fifth in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, leading home the far side group and looking back to something like his best; can go well if building on that from a kinder draw in stall 14.

3.35 Ascot - PROMPTER (NAP)

This race has produced some useful sorts in recent times, most notable Where Or When, Norse Dancer and Il Waard, last year's renewal being won in impressive fashion by subsequent Group 3 runner up The Cheka. This year's renewal looks light form, but if there is going to be a pattern class horse emerge from the race, then it will be the selection, a 70,000gns purchase who is a son of Motivator, out of a 7f winner who was a half sister to the smart miler Priors Lodge. This colt is owned by The Royal Ascot Racing Club and there were plans to run him in the Chesham Stakes but connections decided against it, just as they had done in 2004 with Motivator, citing he was in need of slightly more time. He has done plenty of working, most of it impressively with the likes of the highly rated Syrian and has looked every inch a quality horse; notable that Michael Bell is happy enough to let him start off at this level and it would be a massive disappointment for involved if he couldn't provide his owners with a dream win, as well as a winning return for jockey Hayley Turner. Navajo Chief won nicely on his debut when springing a 50/1 shock at the expense of Footstepsinthespring in a 5f minor event at Windsor, but he was put in his place in a 6f novices' event at Newmarket (July) on Thursday and would have to be a doubtful runner here. Suited And Booted looked a promising sort when finishing eighth of 11 on his debut at Newmarket (July) 13 days ago, travelling well but being denied a clear run when he wanted behind Missionaire, not being subjected to a hard time of it when his winning chance had gone. It looks significant that Richard Hannon is turning him out so quickly, a ploy they've used with great success over the years, and he at least has the edge in terms of experience. Queen's Hawk is the other in the field with experience, and the Denis Coakley trained son of Hawk Wing saw off Toga Tiger in a 6f maiden at Goodwood before coming up short in the Listed Chesham Stakes here at the royal meeting last time; probably capable of better, but is going to need to be giving upwards of 4lbs to his rivals here. Paul Cole reportedly thinks a quite a bit of Red Courtier (yard also had the very highly regarded Banana Republic entered but opted to take him elsewhere), a son of Red Ransom, out of a beautifully bred mare whom he trained to win at Listed level and place in Group 1 company in the late 90's. She has produced a couple of useful enough sorts in Dream In Waiting and Wait For The Light, though nothing exceptional; he cost only 25,000gns as yearling but hard to fault pedigree and trainer, although not as often these days, can still ready a newcomer to score on debut, and the betting will be highly informative. Brian Meehan introduces Cockney Class, a US bred son of Speightstown who cost $145,000, while Clive Cox takes the wraps off Black Spirit, a Black Minnaloushe half brother to the smart 7-8f performer Majestic Roi and the useful middle distance performer Hiddnah, but both will probably improve for the experience, though the latter's yard have shown they can ready a juvenile to score on debut, so market support would be interesting.

3.45 Newmarket (July) - GHAZWAH

This is always an informative fillies' maiden and some smart sorts have won it recent times, notably Khulan, Gossamer, Nidhaal and Fantasia, all of whom where newcomers, and its newcomers who have won seven of the last 10 renewals. The selection is a newcomer by Shamaradal, out of a mare who only raced twice in a brief career and who was a half sister to the top class Valentine Waltz, winner of the Poule d´Essai des Pouliches, and is also related to classy types such as Last Tycoon and The Perfect Life. She's bred to appreciate slightly further and this indeed may well be her only time to run over this trip, but she is said to been showing up very well in her work at Clarehaven, and it wouldn't be the greatest of surprises if she were to prove good enough to make a winning debut here with the yard's juveniles now in much better form than they were a month or so ago. Richard Hills chooses her in preference to the other Hamdan Al Maktoum runner. However, Water Biscuit sets a pretty decent standard on her second placing behind Emma Dora in a fillies' maiden over course and distance last month, taking it up entering the final furlong but being collared in the dying strides by the more experienced winner. That experience will not have been lost on her, but it didn't appear to be a particularly strong race and it wouldn't be a surprise if one of the various newcomers were to prove too good for her here. The Walter Swinburn trained Bella Swan ran a race full of promise on the Rowley Mile course in May when third behind Electric Feel in a 6f fillies' maiden, taking up the running before just failing to last out in the final 100 yards. However, it was very disappointing that she couldn't confirm the form with the seventh, Gallic Star, next time at Leicester, finishing second, beaten 2¼ lengths by the Mick Channon trained filly, looking decidedly one paced in the run to the line. Her rider did drop the whip just as she had battled back to the lead but this still requires more and surprising if one of the newcomers weren't good enough for her here. Simon Callaghan suffered a major disappointment here on Wednesday when one of his better juveniles Tiger Hawk was a tailed off last on his debut, but Dubawi Heights could go some way to making up for it with a debut win here. She certainly fits the bill on breeding, coming from the family of the high class My Branch, dam of Tante Rose and this daughter of Dubawi's dam, Rosie's Posy, a debut winner at two, and who has already produced the useful 6-7f performer Generous Thought. This filly is another who is said to be well thought of by connections, though a Group 2 Lowther entry indicates this, and she is certainly bred to make a two-year old; booking of Frankie Dettori suggests they mean business and a prominent showing on her debut wouldn't surprise at all. Richard Hannon won this in 2003 and 2006 and is doubly represented here by Golden Pippin, a daughter of Medicean, out of a mare who won on her debut at two for him before becoming a disappointing sort, and also Silent Secret, a 38,000gns purchase and is a Dubai Destination half sister to the smart performer Cheyenne Star and who looks the first string judging on jockey bookings. The latter looks the more likelier of the two on this occasion. Mick Channon introduces Excellent Day here, a daughter of Invincible Spirit, out of a mare who is from a middle distance family, so her pedigree is a real mix of speed and stamina; her work is reportedly pretty good, hence her inclusion in the Group 2 Lowther Stakes next month, but most of yard's juveniles have been tending to need their first outing, so would need to see support before she became a betting proposition. The Ed Dunlop trained Faithful Duchess is a half sister to debut two-year old winner and Champagne Stakes winner Etlaala as well as the useful miler Selective; yard won this with a newcomer in 2005 and this filly should make a two-year old at around this trip, but yard's youngsters invariably improve for their initial outings. Larehaan, from the Barry Hills yard, is a US bred daughter of Smarty Jones, out of a mare who is from a fantastic family, that of top class racehorse/stallion Cape Cross; she cost $140,000 as a foal and takes the eye on pedigree, but Richard Hills has chosen to ride Ghazwah on this occasion; Lowther Stakes entry. Outshine is a stablemate of the selection and is another to hold a Lowther Stakes entry, but the daughter of Exceed And Excel is out of a mare who has produced little of note from her previous twelve foals; obviously been showing the right signs at home and likely to make a two-year old at this trip. The one interesting one who has run is the Clive Brittain trained Areeda, a daughter of Refuse To Bend who ran a lot better than her last of five placing in a 6f fillies' maiden at Lingfield suggests; she raced keenly in the rear and was under pressure from over two furlongs out, but she did start to respond for her riders urgings and was going on at the finish, beaten only 4¾ lengths behind Chachamaidee. This demands a lot more - her debut form is nothing to write home about - but she should be capable of much better with that experience under her belt, though pedigree suggests she'll want further in time.

1.30- KYLLACHY STAR
Trainer R A Fahey has just hit a rich vein of form, won its last race even though it had to overcome a few problems at the start comfortably .Will be on a hat trick of 7f wins today if it wins today.Today is a step up in class but should cope easily i beleive.Should be there are there abouts.
6/1 available

2.30 - EMPEROR CLAUDIUS NB
Last time out lost by a short head to BIG AUDIO,the true picture of that race is EMPEROR CLAUDIUS had a terrible start and in the end was always having to make up ground on BIG AUDIO.Believe we will see different finish today.
6/4 available

2.35 - CAPTAIN BRILLIANCE
There's alot of good horses in this race ,but CAPTAIN BRILLIANCE ticks all the boxes and this race is just a stepping stone before we see it in listed company.
4/1 available

3.10 - SCENIC BLAST NAP
This horse is just as good at 6f as it is at 5f.Demolished a very good field at Ascot last time out and this horse looks very special.
6/4 avaiable

3.45 .Will be following the market on this one ,to be honest hate these kinds of races, might just resign to the bar for this race.

4.20 - SIR PARKY
This race i found hard to pick ,Sir Parky won his last two races comfortable, step up to 7f im sure will suit .

4.55 -CLASSIC VINTAGE
.CLASSIC VINTAGE has just hit something like form and would expect a big race from it today.

Going at Newmarket is Good/Good to Firm

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Archie Rice
Solid form in 2008, sixth in Group 3 at Ascot final start. Shaped as though step up to 8f would suit when not beaten far in handicap at Epsom last time and the type to go on progressing.

2:35 Newmarket
Signor Peltro (NAP)
Reliable 6f/7f handicapper who returned to winning ways when getting up late at Doncaster last time. Continues to climb the weights but likely he hasnt finished progressing yet.

4:55 Newmarket
William Blake
Has looked revitalised since being gelded, running well both starts this year (behind Bullet Man at Pontefract). Interesting hes sole representative from in-form yard that targets these races. Smile

4.55 Newmarket - PICTORIAL

Ryan Moore in the saddle for this Stoute runner. There was plenty to like about the way he kept on LTO and this step up in trip will suit on that evidence. Well supported favourite that day and Acquisition who was not far back in 4th has won well since. Being open to plenty improvement against a few exposed types suggests the 9/2 currently on offer is plenty of value.

6.30 Chepstow - SIR BOSS

Top rated horse in this race by a margin. Staying on into 2nd and couldnt reach winner LTO off this same mark. 2 furlongs extra will be fine on that. Penultimate effort saw him beaten 2l by Norman the Great who won again last night.

3.55 York - WHISPERING GALLERY

Very impressive 10l victory on debut confirming why he was supported at even money. Doesnt have a great deal of weight on his back and open to improvement. 4/1 looks outrageous.

2:35 - Newmarket - Orpsie Boy
Im going to have a little ew bet on this one.I think hes a little over priced here. Was far from disgraced at ascot lto when 9th in a big field. This one might be a little tougher but i think the step up to 7f will suit and is on a 2lb lower mark than lto.If he can reproduce his better form with a decent jockey claiming 5 on board he might be worth a little EW bet.
