it looks like a good bit of jumps action today..with a chance of a few winning bets
market rasen, 1.30 blue nymph,..is a nice sort who ran away with his debut at doncaster,..this is easier ..must take all the beating
4.30 mac aeda,.. cd winner but has been off for a year, will find it tough to carry a penalty but this race is there for the takeing
sedgefield,
2.40 tilt, just pipped lto by a nice sort ..his trainer likes him alot ..there,s no stand out rivel here so will take the world of beating imo
4.40 pair of kings , very well related to winners..(tell henry valley henry) and is trained by the bumper king a.swinbank..stable yet to get into gear but surely that isen,t far away
fairyhouse
2.25 arvika ligeonniere, NAP, lovely big scopy sort who came back to form here lto,..will love the ground and going up in distance..will take some stopping |

Mato.... I'm affraid I'm going to have to oppose you on this one - I can't for the life of me have Tilt an odds on chance as forecast on the early exchanges. In the latter part of the flat season he was begining to look very suspect and twice refused to take any part. His win to run ratio is not great either with just three victories in forty starts - the most recent win in December came 3 1/2 years after his previous success. There must also be a doubt about his chances on the likely Heavy ground - although he does have some form on soft - and under his penalty he carries it makes things that much more questionable. I would agree that there is little in the way of viable opposition but do feel from a betting point of view that the Keith Reveley trained Benny Be Good represent a much better value proposition - a very lightly raced 7yo open to some improvement and looks sure to appreciate the extra 3 furlongs than he has raced over .
Mato - you're a braver man than me if you would take odds on for Tilt - I've already laid him at 1.80 - but Good Luck nontheless if you play. |

gonna try my luck over in ireland today but have one at southwell....
turf time (NAP), always runs a solid race and gloves stable are hot atm, seems to be sending out a good horse every day, likes to go from the front and was unlucky last time but stayed on well for second.... likely to give another good account
in the first at fairyhouse i like the look of TAIPERS (NB) who gave a solid fourth on hurdle debut, likely to have improvment still in her and imo davy russel is the best jockey in ireland |

Seem to be having better luck in here than the selections thread lately so will leave that well alone today and post my fancies here...
2.20 Pavement games off my one to watch list. has been dropped another 2lb for an encouraging run last time. He acts on soft so might go well here. He is definitely on a most lenient mark, just needs to settle a bit better - I think he has a chance today carry such a low weight thanks to Billie Jean.
2.00 Market Rasen sees promising Ranjobaie NAP back out and at the weights he looks to have great shout in breaking his hurdling duck. He looks very useful and it would take a good horse to give weight away to him. Its strange McCoy rides the stablemate who's form is weaker, I think it might be to get the 7lb claimer onto the selection and finally get him off the mark.
3.30 - I'm going to chance a little e/w on Hermano Cordobes. The question mark is his well being, having returned to his owners yard after showing promise in 2008 for phillip Hobbs. Richard Johnson is back on board though and possible that this one needed his last couple of runs, having ran well for the most part before folding tamely. However thats prompted the handicapper to drop him 11lb in his last two starts (7lb for latest effort) and I just think he might have taken too much of a chance on him and with the jockey riding very well at the minute worth a little e/w I think
It often pays to side with the most experienced jockey in conditional races, so in the 4.00 I think Ollie Greenhall has an outstanding chance on Pristine Condition, although likely to be solid favourite, is well worth it in my book. won all his 3 points last year after being well backed but flopping in his debut in this sphere, back for another crack and with more experience looks a good bet.
Aidan might be able to fill us in on the last but I think Rationing has a good flat pedigree representing a good yard, especially in this type of race and might be the one to take the fav on with given his form has been let down badly and has to give weight away all round.
Also I wonder what does Aidan fancy, in the last at Fairyhouse ??? _________________ CLICK HERE TO SEE MY CHELTENHAM PORTFOLIO |

Watch out for Open Day, Blue Nymph backers. I'm pretty surprised that this one isn't more prominent in the exchange markets, Jonjo had a winner on Sunday with a similar sort and his form behind Diktalina has been franked. Park Lane is the unknown quantity but he might have to be pretty smart to beat both of his more experienced rivals. GL all. _________________ Visit my each-way blog at: http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/forum/topic31_23328.html |

Monte major who was declared a non runner yesterday at wolves, turns out at the 2.50 southwell..its 5-2 compared to the favourite spic and span which is 9-4,Monte major is in fine form here at south, has great numbers on the clock..connections decided to pull it yesterday and put it into todays race for some reason...is that a good or bad sign...what reason could they give for not running major and then running it today?? |

Boy Rooney - if you look at future engagements you'll see he is entered for both Southwell and Wolves on Friday. They obviously want to keep this one busy! Positive or negative? I'd guess at positive.
PS - looking at the race it was in yesterday (14:00 Wolves) todays race is easier.
PS 2 - looking at yesterdays racecard it was drawn badly in 13. The other badly drawn runner in 12 was also a non-runner. |

| Sedgefield will be an absulute bog today but I still cant see Tilt getting beat. Yeah hes a bit temperamental, but he still holds a Cheltenham entry and he should be head and shoulders above these rivals. I fancy an Ellison double for the first two Sedgefield races. |

Seabass for Ted Walsh and son Ruby at Fairyhouse is a cracking price, currently 15/8 in the penultimate race on the card!
Seabass has went up 9 pounds for winning a race a good deal better than this one last time out at Punchestown and can defy his penalty as Coll Corner has gone up 3 for a close second in a bad field last time out and Got The Urge has gone up 6 for an easy win at Limerick last week..
Seabass looks well treated and his form with DroimToll and Inoma James keeps getting franked! As i said looks a cracking bet.. |
