Please take your time to understand the entry terms below + ask any questions if you arent sure. (Same rules as last year if you were with us then If you are new to OLBG then Welcome We hope you enjoy it here.)
Here are some links to help you out.

Last years cheltenham tipster comp discussion thread
Cheltenham 2010 Ante Post Thread
Entry You do not have to enter this seperately. If you are a member of OLBG then you just need to add tips (with comments) to the Cheltenham day of the race markets and these will count towards the Cheltenham table and the prizes. The Cheltenham table will be set up during March.
Prizes £500, 200, 100, 100, 100. This is in addition to the £3k + of normal monthly prizes which you can still win during March based on the criteria for the other leagues.
LSP? This means Level Stakes Profit. One point will be placed on the horse for win tips, 1/2 a point Each Way for Each Way tips at the odds taken or SP if you dont take odds (or there are non runners after your tip is placed). So it doesnt matter if you select a stake of 50 or 500 for these tips. If you place a win tip on a 5/1 winner, you will then have a LSP of + 5 points. If you then have 3 losing win tips, your level stakes profit will be down to + 2 points.
Day of Race Markets? These should be available from the night before racing. They will be called by the time of the race say "3.20 Cheltenham" rather than "Cheltenham Gold Cup" . Tips placed on the ante post markets like those called "Cheltenham Gold Cup" will NOT count.
LSP>£0, tips>10 and stakes>£500 Those little arrows mean greater than. So you must place more than 10 qualifying tips. So thats 11 or more!
Winning Tips without tip comments are excluded (all losing tips are included) You must add good comments as to why you are tipping each horse when the tip is placed. No comments or comments added later and winning tips wont count. Poor comments, or short comments and winning tips wont count. We just need a few good reasons as to why you are choosing the selection. 20 + words should be long enough. Also no copy and pasting of comments - you will need different comments for each tip!
I cant play as Ive lost all my money Dont worry! There will be increased daily top ups during the festival. So you will get £300 added each day - enough to make 6 tips and most days there are 6 races.

Excellant, I have enjoyed this competition in the past, adds a little spice to the Festival, with the added bonus of not losing your own money but the chance of increasing it. Thank you OLBG _________________ Have a Good Day & Be Lucky |

great stuff, just one question though, u say stakes >500, yet £300 can allow you 6 50 quid bets per day, so is it stakes greater than 500 or 50?? |

The above rule is over the the 4 days.
However it is level stake profit to find the winners. So one point per selection or 1/2 a point Each Way. |

It makes no difference what size stakes you do, as mentioned it works out as 1 point win or 1/2 point e/way.
So better off doing £50 stakes and for each ways £50 e/way.
That way you have enough each day, no point having a £500 stake when it will be worked out the same as a £50 stake.
If im right? |

Correct David.
You can do 25 Ews (ie 50 staked)
Lays are ok too but you'll have to go some to make much to level stakes with those as you are only risking 1 point each time. |
