It is going to be like asking an Arsenal supporter to support Tottenham or vice versa.

Ouch! Thats shocking mate....and knowing you own a bit of your rivals. I'd keep that quiet down your local on a weekend! Laughing

Not a bad idea....BUT - as long as they can't get enough money to buy-out a serious club (obviously, they can't at the moment) it's more like a game...

Not many people can afford to purchase a big club. Look at the top clubs at the moment and nearly everyone of them has been saddled with enormous debts just so someone can get their hands on them. What if Abramovich, the Glaziers and the guys at Liverpool walk out on their clubs. The ex-Owners will not be saddled with the debt. the clubs will.

It's certainly not a game. If I wanted to play a game I would stick FM2008 on.

It's an experience.

What great news !!! Smile

Not sure if those in the north will be as happy but away games could take on a life of their own if there is a decent following in some towns.

The whole area is being developed (especially the Eurostar rail link) so I think this really is a club for the future, not to sure about promotion this season but I,m sure Ebbsfleet are going to go from strength to strength.

Just a quick update on this venture.

On Saturday Ebbsfleet won their FA Trophy semi-final against Conference leaders Aldershot. They will play at Wembley in May against Torquay United.

Now 29,000 members get a chance to watch a club they own part play at Wembley and get input into the side which plays. Cheeky
